If you use Nationality checking service then you can keep your original documents as they will take photo copies. If you send your documents yourself through royal mail then it night take some time to get ur passport. So highly recommended use NCS

If you completed biometric scans then you should get COA. Try sending emails to this adress
NWEUROCOARequests@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk..

you can also request passport online again and also write to case worker unit.

Hi there I requested my COA abd they sent it next day. I was shock to see response usually u don't get anything for weeks.
use this email exactly in this formate as it is case sensitive

I did it when I applied for myself. My eea Mrs had to go out of country after one month so in cover letter I mentioned to them to return her passport asap once they have established her ID. Not sure why it's case sensitive but at least now u got confirmation. Usually 20 working days to get COA. But with ukba you never know

You can apply for permanent residence card but if you prefer to apply for residence card then you have to show simply that your husband either exercising his rights or if he already got document certifying permanent residence then you will be fine. Well look like caseworker wasn't in good mood otherwise it shouldn't be a reason to refuse. You can submit further documents and request for reconsideration. I am sure you will get you PR soon then

to join family probably simply submit marriage certificate, activities ur wife working in UK pay slips etc. Too many documents can cause hassle so stick with the check list on the form and rest provide when they ask for it on later stage
