Yes, you are right, I must pass an English exam again. I just cannot believe in this madness. Another £150 to waste.

Thank you!

Re: English qualification for ILR, as of Dec 2015

Ok, but I still confused. The Appendix O has IELTS listed, so Q6 from the FAQ may apply. My IELTS certificate dated 2008 says it is "University Of Cambridge ESOL examination". And FAQ mentions that ESOL is not accepted any more. Does it mean there are different IELTS tests - and mine is no...

English qualification for ILR, as of Dec 2015

Hi all, Currently I am on Tier 1 visa, and my English qualification has been confirmed with first Tier1 application by IELTS ~5y ago. Should I pass yet another English test for the ILR application in December 2015? I am very confused. There are few recent changes in requirements. The Internet has bo...

Re: Earnings evidence

Hi, thanks. But could you explain how does it work? As I remember, the Guidance requires to have two independent types of evidence, coming from different sources. But in my case I will have payslips coming from NatWest and bank statements coming from NatWest too. I know it sounds ridiculous, NatWest...

Re: TIER1 additional extension

Hello montysingh, Yes, UKVI indeed, my mistake, just yet another four letter abbrev on top of my head. Of course it is a lot of money, but I think I will be relaxed more if I have two more years for ILR application rather than just yet another holiday. Hello Go12, I cannot find it in a guide. Could ...

Earnings evidence

I am employee of NatWest, and my bank account is also in NatWest. Could I use my payslips and bank statements as two sources of evidence? Technically it is the same company, but in fact it is very large and well known organisation.

Re: TIER1 additional extension

Thanks for response, it is very useful and calms my nerves.

I just want to double check my understanding. So, the HMRC closes the extentions for main applicants only, and the dependands could extend their visas anytime after, as long as the main applicant has valid extention. Is it correct?

TIER1 additional extension

Hi all, My and my dependants 5 year mark is the January 2016, then my current extension ends. We will have only 28 days to apply for ILR, and if it fails for some reason, we will have no any other chance to settle in UK. As I know, the HMRC closes extensions in April 2015. Does it make sense to appl...
