I have been here since last 8 years as a student. WIll I be extending my visa under PBS when i apply for extension on July 2009? Will i be eligible for ILR after ten years of long residence as a student?

I have received my ILR 2 months ago under Long Residence. I think I will b eligible for naturalisation in 1 year time. Will it be any problem if i live outside UK for 2-3 months? What will be the effect for my wife visa... i mean when she will be eligible for ILR after 2 years time. SHe gonna be out...

Hi.. I am in UK with tourist visa for 6 months. I am resident of Nepal. I would like to travel to Switzerland. Can i apply visa in Swiss Embassy London or do i have to go back to Nepal to do that? Please let me know as soon as possible. Thank you.

my wife cant apply for ILR with me as I got my ILR on the grounds of Long Residence and she is just here in UK for last 5 years. Hence, she only got Spouse visa for 2 years.

i have just received my ILR couple of weeks ago. am i eligible for claiming child benefit ? will this affect the citizenship process after 12 mths? will it affect my wife ILR process as she is in spouse visa at the moment.

Hi

Do anyone knows how to resolve the GAPS in 10 years residency? Are they considering any GAPS like anydays? Anyone come forward whose GAPS has been dealt. I am applying soon and I even dont know if there is any GAPS. But I heard that we wont be knowing it till we apply.

Suggestions plz....

Hi I am appplying for ILR on this June 2008 on te basis of 10 years. I am hearing rumours about the gaps in 10 years. I havent applied for extension after the expiry of my visda. I will be 10 years in 21st June 1998. When will I be eligible for applying ILR? Can i apply 28 days before or do i have to wait till 21st June 2008. Please advice me asap.

Its not like i never went to college... i was a Computer science student since last eight years.... i did go to ACCA for the job prospect... I dont have any accounting background...thats making difficult to pass the exams....
