Tier 2 (General) Extension and £35k Earning Threshold

This might sound like a silly question but I will appreciate a quick response on it. My current tier 2 visa will expire at the beginning of 2017 but I have started to discuss with my employer that I will be looking to renew my visa at the end of the year. Given the introduction of £35k earning thres...

Re: Resident Labour Market Test

If the role is the same as your current SOC and you are just moving up in salary there is no need for RLMT. If however the SOC is not the same or there is a significant change in the role, say now senior manager as opposed to Jnr staff then a RLMT would be needed. Without knowing the precise detail...

Re: Resident Labour Market Test

Thank you for your response. the new role is the same SOC as my current role and the change of role also involved pay rise. The new role is not a managerial role but a senior for example change of role from Field Engineer to Senior Field Engineer.

Resident Labour Market Test

I will appreciate a quick response from anyone.

I am looking to confirm if RLMT is required if Im being offered a new role in my office. Is the company required to pass RLMT before promoting a sponsored worker?

Thank you

Re: Additional Dependant- Child Born while on Tier 2 (Genera

You dont have to inform home office of your newborn child. The baby is legally allowed to be in UK without a visa since the baby was born here. However, you will need a dependent visa for the baby if he/she wants to travel out of UK and return. Otherwise, a visa a not mandatory. thank you for the r...

Re: Out of the Country for 10 months during this 5 Year

I think you will be fine if your company can confirm that you were working for them when abroad and most importantly if you have proofs to show that you were paying your taxes for all the periods you were away. That will show that you were earning from the UK and paying you taxes even though you wer...

Additional Dependant- Child Born while on Tier 2 (General)

I have a baby recently and also expecting increase in salary and change of job title within the same company. I have read through change of circu...
