EVERYONE has to get that receipt of application because it comes with the biometric enrolment application. Sometimes it comes early within a week of later with 3-4 weeks but it has to come and you pass it to your employer.

Hey Sophist When you send off your ILR application, within a week or two you'll receive a letter as receipt which will stipulate all your entitlements and you'll pass it on to you employer. So where does the HO get the '90% applications processed in 12 weeks' figure they claim? Because from what I've been reading on here, I'm yet to see anyone say their application was approved in 12 weeks!! Most got their application approved between 16 - 22 weeks on average
