Re: Replacement of Residence Card (EEA (FM))

Thanks MrSlyFox To me it just seems odd that the replacement form does not cover in my daughter's case. Do you know if the procedure (and ETA) is the same as the first time it was processed? Since it was granted the first time and she is registered as a resident, you could argue that it shouldn't ta...

Replacement of Residence Card (EEA (FM))

Hi I am a Danish citizen that in 2015 moved to the UK with my Filipino family. My wife and her children all received residence cards and are working/in school. All was good. Then my stepdaughter lost her residence card (here in the UK) :( I reported it lost which was easy. But when we applied for a ...

EEA2 and sponsor's temporary job

Hi all I am currently searching for jobs in UK and will be travelling there with my family (non-EEA) next week. Some of the jobs I find are on temporary (usually 6 months) contracts. Once I have a job I will apply for EEA2 for my wife and children, but will their application be affected if my contra...

EEA Family Permit and Health Care Surcharge

Hey We have just handed in our papers for re-application for EEA Family Permit, and were now presented with a requirement to go through the health care surcharge registration site, http://www.immigration-health-surcharge.service.gov.uk. That seems fine, we will register and pay if necessary. But how...

Re: Please help - EEA FP Refused - Proving intent to travel.

Then the response from the embassy came...... Re: Please help - EEA FP Refused - Proving intent to travel.

Thanks rosebead I used the contact form on SOLVIT's website but apparently they re-direct those inquiries to "Your Europe Advise" because they we actually the ones that sent me the advice I posted earlier. Since I have just received options on the job front locally in case the permit is de...

Re: Please help - EEA FP Refused - Proving intent to travel.

Thanks again for the replies. We have now received answer from SOLVIT. They advise that: 1-Provide proof of my current employment via letter from employer or contract. 2-Reserve a flight ticket or purchase a flight ticket with flexible dates and/or refund options. Not what I had hoped, but unless th...

Re: Please help - EEA FP Refused - Proving intent to travel.

Thank you all. At least it seems I'm not the only one who's baffled at their refusal. I have now written to the embassy who have "forwarded it to the visa section". So hopefully they will reconsider. Also wrote to SOLVIT. While giving them a little time to answer, we are considering our op...

Re: Please help - EEA FP Refused - Proving intent to travel.

Thanks Vinny I am going to write to them now to get some clarification. Hopefully they can provide some..... Do you know why they would ask for proof of my current job? First of all I can't see that it fits with the requirements what I am doing now in Philippines. And secondly I can't see how I can ...

Please help - EEA FP Refused - Proving intent to travel...

My wife and her children have received refusal for EEA Family Permit :( The reason is that it is not deemed proven that I will travel with them as well as it is not proven that I hold the working position in Philippines that I claim. The same was the issue once before, since we had not included a pr...

Re: EEA Family Permit clarification

Thanks a lot chaoclive. Maybe someone else can help in regards to the kids. I found this on gov.uk: The family members of an EEA national (part 7 of the EEA Regulations) include: -spouses or civil partners; - direct descendants of the EEA national or their spouse / civil partner under 21; -dependent...

EEA Family Permit clarification

Hi I am planning to move to UK to pursue some job options and would like some input on whether I understood the rules correctly. I am an EEA citizen living in Asia and will be moving with my wife and her 3 children (not legally adopted by me). My wife and children are all non-EEA citizens. Therefore...
