Tier 2 after comapny merged with another

Hi, I'm on Tier2 visa under my company's sponsorship. The company will be merged with another company and will form a new company (new name, new set up etc). It's trough a carve out process now to be independent entity from the mother company and later on will be merged to the other company. I know ...

Re: British Citizenship if a partner is British

Ohara,

Thank you so much for your prompt and positive answer. This will save a year for me!!!

Do we have to register our marriage in the UK or a certified translation of our marriage certificate will be enough???

Appreciate your answer to my last question.

Vinny,

Many thanks for your reply. Would you be able to elaborate a bit more please? The link you've sent me is confusing.

Many thanks

British Citizenship if a partner is British

Hi all, I have heard those who are married to a British citizen, don't need to wait for a year after ILR and they can submit their application right after permanent residency. Although I don't believe this is to be true but can someone clarify this to me whether by rejecting or accepting it? Many th...

Re: Tier 2 Application form and IHS Health Surcharge

Hi Zartanx, All the posts/info in internet suggest that you need to pay twice even though it doesn't make any sense at all as you're not going to use NHS twice!!! BUT I have a good news for people like you. My friend was exactly in the same position as you and he paid the surcharge twice to proceed ...

Tier2 (General) Language Requirement

Hi there, I'm going to apply for Tier2 extension working for the same company. I got my SoC and everything is ready. Just noticed something is wrong in the application form. In section N, question N2, when I tick the box for Degree Taught in English, the form says go to question N5 which is for lang...

Re: Health Surcharge (IHS) Exemption

Many thanks Casa for your prompt response. It's peace of mind now that I know I have to pay.

It's funny that things are difficult when you're related to a British person!!! It's easier to marry an EU member, and then move over to UK!!! Just doesn't make sense to me.

Many thanks anyway.

Health Surcharge (IHS) Exemption

Hi, I'm going to apply for my Tier2 extension in couple of months time and as part of the new changes (you read it extra charges) I have to pay £600 for IHS for 3 years extension. However, there is an exemption list including those who are a family member of an EU citizen. My wife is British citizen...

Re: Promotion under Tier 2

Hi Moabdul,

I'm having the same issue and was just wondering what happened on your visa? did you need a new RLMT and a new visa? I'm getting promoted soon and will need to know this ASAP. Any update from those who had the same issue is greatly appreciated.

Cheers
