THANKS. i called the passport office and they said my passport had been sent for printing and i should be able to receive it within this week :-)

Hi all

I have just received the approval letter and the citizenship invite. the date of ceremony is booked on 29-November, which i am ok with.

But i have booked a trip to Iceland next week, is it still ok for me to travel on my existing passport and ILR card?

after more than 7-months wait, i have received the approval letter and ceremony invite today.

i contacted UKVI twice and my local MP helped as well.

To those who have not received the approval, good luck and never give up. Keep contacting UKVI and ask your MP to help.

Hi DId you mean you had received the approval via email? Did you try contacting local MP or emailing HO by yourself ? The only other thing you can do apart from contacting your MP is send a signed for letter to HO... but they know that you're waiting as they called you in August as you mentioned. I ...

It's 2nd Oct now and the 6 months has passed.

Except the biometrics letter and a confirmation email, I have not received anything from HO so far.

How do u think I should contact HO? Call or Email?

Do you think I should ask our local MP to get involved now?

It has been nearly 6 months now.

I submitted on 31-03-2016. Half a year has almost passed...

I will start calling and writing on 01-10-2016.

Anyone on the same boat ?

Is it possible for me to find a barrister to sue HO onto court?

Be aware that the 6 months standard processing time is just that, a statement of how long it takes approximately to process a naturalisation application. There is no legal requirement for the Home Office to finish processing applications in that timeframe. The rush of EEA citizens naturalising post...
