UK is not recommended as you'll never be one of them, plus they're dearly beloved (policy, govt) and all.

Canada gives you citizenship after u live here for 3 yrs as a permanent resident.

PPR depends on the fact if your background/security check is complete by the time your medicals reach cic. but in most cases its 1-3 months after medicals that the passports are requested.

You'll have to sponsor her under the family class....
check www.cic.gc.ca for details.........basically first you will apply to sponsor her, and then CIC/Canadian visa office abroad will ask her to apply for permanent residence.

1. Nope, bcaz they're 2 different countries.
2. check www.cic.gc.ca for details
3. work experience must be at least FULLTIME 1YR or EQUIVALENT and it must have been paid work. (no volunteer stuff). You would need to show proof of tax paid, tax slips of income tax etc.

you must take the IELTS test (general option) for english language proficiency. a band of 7 in each category will get u 16 out of 16 points....if ur first language is english and 2nd language is french (per canadian application). for french u need to do language test as well to claim points. check h...

it takes 2-3 weeks to get the card after landing.

after that you may leave and re-enter the country as much as u like.

under 18 no need.....and less than 6 months no need.
