Re: Clarifications For ILR Document Submission

Hi there, my bad, was under the impression that I should create separate threads for discussing separate topics. I tried to mark my old thread solved by was unable to. I will ensure I bump up my threads in the future with new questions as opposed to creating new thread!

Clarifications For ILR Document Submission

Hi folks, my wife is now in the process of uploading documents for her ILR application (Tier 2 dependent) and we have a few questions: How many months worth of salary slip and bank statements should she upload? What should she upload for the "Sponsor/employer" section? Should she get a let...

Re: Forgot sponsor License Number for ILR holder; what now?

Thanks for the quick reply! She has only provided my BRP/NI/Passport Number, not the scans for my BRP/passport; would that be fine?

Forgot sponsor License Number for ILR holder; what now?

Hi folks, Recently my wife fully completed her ILR application form (as a dependent of Tier 2 ILR holder). One of the questions posed to her in the form was "Do you have one of these reference number for Mr. XXX". For this, her reply was "No" given that I don't have any active re...

No Travel History required for ILR?

Hi folks, When I applied for my ILR last year after completing 5 years as Tier 2, I had to submit quite a few documents to my advisor like my 5 year travel history, my salary slips, my bank statements etc. My wife is now trying to apply online for her ILR (as my dependent) and it seems there is no r...

Re: Skipping ILR process for dependent

Gotcha, she satisfies the 3 year residence rule but I just need to ensure that she applies her ILR when I'm already a BC to directly be able to apply for British passport as opposed to waiting for an year. Thanks for your help.

Skipping ILR process for dependent

Hi folks, I currently have an ILR and eligible for applying for my British passport. My wife has also completed 5 years and is now eligible for applying for her ILR. Would it be possible for her to skip ILR if I have a British passport? If not, would it at least be possible for her to skip the 1 yea...

Re: ILR for Tier 2 General category Visa person

Wow, that's a pretty big misunderstanding on my part. So basically, to confirm, if I'm still around with a Tier 2 General Visa at Mar 2019, I would be able to file an ILR?

Thanks.

ILR for Tier 2 General category Visa person

Hi folks, Thanks for all the help I have received over time in answering my visa related queries. I have a new query this time: I landed in UK on the 31st of March 2014. As per the default rules, I would become eligible for ILR at around 31st March 2019 (5 yrs for Tier 2 general). *But*, I have hear...

Small confirmation needed

Hi folks, Apologies for posting trivial questions but just wanted to make sure I'm doing things right. I have recently started creating the online application for my wife (I'm a Tier 2 general migrant from A rated sponsor). I created the application but the visa type doesn't mention "Tier 2&quo...

TB test for Tier 2 Dependent

Hi folks, After a bit of reading around, I have found that along with other documents, we also need to submit a TB report to the VFS. My question is: does my spouse need this report *after* she submits the form and pays the amount or can this test be done anytime? Would it be ideal to have a TB repo...

Re: Tier 2 General Visa for my Wife

Thanks for the clarification Vinny. Good to know that dependent's don't need points. Regarding BRP, I do remember my photo being taken and fingers scanned at the visa center, but I don't have any document/letter for it to give it to my wife. I thought biometric scanning was something which was autom...

Tier 2 General Visa for my Wife

Hi folks, I came to UK and year back on Tier 2 General Visa sponsored by an A-rated sponsor. Now that I'm married (which happened back in India), I would like to bring over my wife with me. During my move, all my paperwork was done by my company so I was not very sure of the process. We hired a visa...
