Re: IDV App -- when to upload docs?

Thanks for your reply! I was asked to perform ID verification and upload documents via the IDV app plus asked to book an biometric appointment. I had a re-read through all the mail communication and I don't see any due date mentioned for uploading the docs so it's quite possible what you say is true...

Re: IDV App -- when to upload docs?

Anyone? Just want to confirm whether it's fine to upload the docs in the IDV app just the day before my biometrics appointment or do I need to do it certain hours in advance (e.g. 72 hrs)? Thanks.

Re: IDV App -- when to upload docs?

Hi CR001, I was invited to use the IDV app to upload my documents and then book an appointment to provide my biometrics. All my uploaded documents also show up on the UKVCAS portal but I'm missing a few. I'm trying to understand how long do I have before the document upload locks up? Thanks. You mus...

IDV App -- when to upload docs?

Hi folks, I've booked an appointment booked for my Naturalisation on the 6th of July. But I've still not uploaded all the documents via the IDV app since I'm waiting on few things. Is it fine to upload all the documents on the 5th and go in for my appointment or do I need to have the documents uploa...

Re: Naric/Ecctis not provided for ILR but now mandatory for Naturalisation?!

Any input appreciated; really hoping that I'm not the only one with this problem!

In case someone wants a TLDR -- have an ILR before Naric/Ecctis was mandatory, so would I need Naric for my naturalisation?

Naric/Ecctis not provided for ILR but now mandatory for Naturalisation?!

Hi folks, I'm almost done with my naturalization application but stuck with the part about English language proficiency. It's asking me to provide Ecctis letter which I don't have!: Ecctis letter that confirms the qualification meets or exceeds the recognised standard of a Bachelor's or Masters degr...

Re: Reference declarations -- hard copy or scanned?

There is NO requirement to post ANY originals to UKVI at all and it has been the case for a long time. If they need an original, they will ask for it!!! Unclear why people make the rules up as they go on what they think is relevant, instead of following the very clear guidelines and process !! Inte...

Reference declarations -- hard copy or scanned?

Hi folks, I'm just about done with my form filling and would like to understand how to proceed with referee declarations which have to be submitted. Would it be enough to scan and upload a soft copy or would I need to send across a signed hardcopy? In short, would it be enough to: Send across the PD...

Re: Clarification on "be in the UK on the first day of qualifying period" and other things

Hello, I've managed to locate my degree certificate and get a scan of it. When I move to the next stage of the application ("Documents" tab), the form tells me to tick all boxes. My first question is : should I still tick the box with NARIC even though I won't be providing it? And the seco...

Clarification on "be in the UK on the first day of qualifying period" and other things

Hello folks, I'm applying for naturalisation and need some help please on couple of items. A bit of my background -- I first landed in the UK on 30th March 2014 on a Tier 2 General Visa and got my ILR with a date of issue as 5th April 2019. I am having trouble understanding the requirement "You...

Re: Clarifications For ILR Document Submission

Hi, I had another couple of questions on the same topic. 1. As part of "proof of identity" and "travel history", we have uploaded the front and back pages of my wife's passport. Should I be scanning and uploading all the pages of passport or just back and front is fine? 2. The ma...

Re: Clarifications For ILR Document Submission

There must be a question where it asked: Do you have any leave granted after 11th Jan 2018? You should have answered yes. And then listed the relevant absences as stated above in the online form as the form would have asked for it. Oh no, there was indeed a section which said "Does the period ...

Re: Clarifications For ILR Document Submission

She will only list absences in the online form on/after May 2019. Before that she did not have any absence limits as the leaves were granted before 11th Jan 2018 (assuming the middle extension was granted before 11th Jan 2018). Thanks; just to clarify we don't see any section in the online form whi...

When was your wife’s initial visa and last extension granted?
The initial visa was granted on March 2015 and the latest extension was granted on May 2019. The current visa will expire sometime in 2022. The current visa is her 3rd one.

Re: Clarifications For ILR Document Submission

[snipped] PBS dependents only have absence requirements if any leave was granted after 11th Jan 2018. Thanks; can you please extrapolate on this statement a bit more? When you say "any leave was granted" does this mean any trips outside UK after 11th Jan 2018, even if they don't breach th...
