Wife's Application for naturalisation as a BC - Residence requirements tricky situation

Hello There, i am in the process of applying BC for my wife through naturalisation. She has been holding her UK BRP ILR since Jan 2018. I have got my BC (through naturalisation) around Nov 2017. We got married in 2012 in India and we both were Indian citizenships at that time. Option1: For Proof of ...

Re: Wife's Application for naturalisation as a BC - supporting docs Section 5 query

Is there any specific reason not to use paper form ? It is easier and all supporting documents are uploaded digitally, meaning you are not without original documents for months. Applying using the paper form, you have to send all original documents to UKVI and they are kept by ukbi until a decision...

Re: Wife's Application for naturalisation as a BC - supporting docs Section 5 query

You should use the online form and not the paper form. Not need to send originals to UKVI if you apply online. ILR BRP is the free from immigration control document!! Thanks CR001 for your response. Is there any specific reason not to use paper form ? When you say no need to send original passports...

Re: ILR approved and can i sponser visit visa ASAP?

She can apply for a visit visa at any time. There is no 'rule' that YOU have to hold ILR for x months or days. She will still need to provide evidence of her personal and financial circumstances and ties to home country. You holding ILR does not exempt her from proving she is a 'genuine visitor'. T...

Re: Refusal of Visit Visa

As others have already mentioned, it is important to be able to convince the ECO that your auntie will be leaving UK after the sho the short visit. You know (from personal knowledge) that she will leave UK. She knows that from her personal circumstances. But the ECO has only the documents to go by....

Five months is not a visit, in fact it's almost tax resident. No-one is twisting your arm but I can say between us, my partner have applied for about 10 visas and none have been refused because we've never for want of a better expression 'tried it on' but pushing it. If any further doubt search thi...

Re: Refusal of Visit Visa

Rajesh, As your uncle is giving your auntie money (deposited into her account), he is essentially sponsoring this visit along with you. So you need to include his financials (Bank statements, pension letter, etc) and a letter to confirm that he is indeed sponsoring this visit and hence transferrred...

Re: Refusal of Visit Visa

Remember the visit visa has a VALIDITY of 6 months, doesn't mean it allows a visit of six months, two or three visits or 2/3 weeks over the validity period would be the way I'd go. Can we reapply but this time for just 6-8 weeks instead of 5 months and do you think that is reasonable for a visit vi...

Re: Refusal of Visit Visa

UKVI casts a suspicious eye over suddenly deposited funds, it's a popular ruse to garner faith in a solid-looking application, only for the funds to be transferred back immediately after a visa is granted. Since there is no pattern of regular deposits, no letter from anyone is going to persude the ...
