Majority of applicants who applied in the first two weeks of March and specially those who applied in first week are still waiting , just few of them got their approvals. The 2nd half of March are getting their approvals fastly as compared to first half . I think the last week of Feb with the first...

That link you posted is for people who are already on a spouse visa route and coming to an end of their qualifying period in order to apply for ILR. It will not be applicable for your friend. No. She would first have to switch to Spouse on FLR(M) and this is a 5 year route to ILR. The 'clock' would reset to zero if she switches. How long as she been in the UK on her work visa?
