Re: Tier 1 Entrepreneur Job Creation & Accelerated ILR in 3

You have lived in the UK for 7.50 years? What did you do in during that 7.50 years? When did you leave the UK? Make sure you are outside the UK for at least 6 months. HO will know that you just want to get your visa to reach your 10 year. You application has lots of red flags and I think there is a ...

Thanks for your post. It was available before. I know 2 people who got their visa last November through super premium service but HO had wrong info on their site.

Re: Petition to give Tier 1 applicants rights to appeal

We already have right to AR and second application. If it is a minor problem, you can always apply for a second time. If everything fails then JR. They will never bring back appeal rights and they shouldn't. Appeal rights were used by many people to legally extend their leave for many years to waste...

And the source of your statement above??? https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/immigration-statistics-october-to-december-2016/settlement Only 59,009 were granted ILR IN 2016. I don't blame HO, They have the right to charge us whatever they want, taxpayers should not be funding UKVI. It is a ...

ILR grants are down more than 50% since 2012. So they need to double the fees, just to make the same amount.

Re: 10 years continuous residency ILR-UK law or European law

Quick question. Could it be that 10 year rule is somehow related to human rights act and government can not abolish it without repealing human rights act first? Thank you.

Re: T1 Ent Extension Approved, Whats Next?

Hi Zimba, You mentioned long residency and I have a quick question. I am currently on Tier 1 E which expires in November 2019. I will reach my 10 year residency on January 2019. I was wondering if you think there is chance 10 year rule being abolished in the next 18 months or so? I realize you would...

registration within six months

Hi,

I switched from Tier 1 GE to Tier 1 E in November. I was already registered as company's director before I apply for Tier 1 E. Do I need to do anything else within six month of entering Tier 1 E route? I just want to make sure I'm not missing something. Thanks.

Re: Expected Changes In Rules 6th April 2017

I agree that some people took advantage of the rules (PSW people) but they have tightened the rules since 2014. In my case, I did not feel taken advantage of by corner shop visa holders. The process was very smooth and HO did a very good job. The whole visa process was easy to understand compare to ...

Re: Expected Changes In Rules 6th April 2017

I agree with SM12, nowhere in the rules and regulation, HO has stated that they prefer tech start ups. An accounting firm can grew to become the next PWC and hire tens of thousands of people. Seasky, Just checked your previous posts, You mentioned at the time of the extension, your tech start up had...

Re: Expected Changes In Rules 6th April 2017

I agree that some businesses are low values but it is still far better than most other migrant routes such as Tier 2. I think tier 1 E benefits the UK economy and UK government likes it. it is good for a economy to take out two people out of unemployment benefits. I think you should study other rout...

Re: Expected Changes In Rules 6th April 2017

Sorry Seasky but that's just not true. During last year there was a huge backlog from 3 years ago for PSW visa holders. HO now has become much faster to decide. They decided my application for a tech start up in a month and a half. I have checked other countries business visas, no other country impo...

SM12,

I know for some reasons they don't write it on that page. Call some top legal 500 lawyers and ask them. My friend used a super premium service few months ago through his lawyer. What category are you switching from?

Re: Expected Changes In Rules 6th April 2017

I think they should focus on Tier 4 and Tier 2 visas if they are really serious about immigration. Those two routes are huge and abused far more than Tier 1 Entrepreneur. Tier 2 immigrants are taking British people jobs especially those who switch their visas in country. Even a absolute minimum Tier...

I'm a founder of a tech startup myself and was chosen among 80 people by my university. Majority of new jobs created in the UK are minimum wage jobs and there is nothin...

Trump banning certain nationalities

Hi, I'm currently on Tier 1 Entrepreneur and travelling to my country for 12 days on 1st of February. Trump just banned 7 countries' nationals to enter the US including green card holders. I was wondering if the UK is going to do the same thing over the next month? I'm really really worried as Trump...
