Re: 3 Months No response - Family Permit (urgent advice pls)

Hi guys, thanks for replying. Is UK immigration history is not good. He has a deportation order and was removed from the UK 2014. The deportation was because he caught working with a fake passport. He was given a twelve months sentence with an automatic deportation order. After his deportation we de...

Maybe try emailing them to ask the reason for the delay. They seems to be responding to some people's email and telling them the cause for the delay.

Re: UK travel in stamp 4EUFAM

Hi alphagear,

Have you received the EU Stamp 4 (5 years card). You mentioned it was due 19th Oct and your 6months temp card was due to expire 19th Nov. Has it now arrived? If so, when did it come and how long was the delay?

Re: EEA Family Permit Application (Deportation/Criminal reco

AFAIK he would still need to apply to have the deportation order revoked as it is in force until decision is made to revoke it- the revocation is usually after 10 years since date deportation took place. You need to be careful the advice you give people. The information above is NOT correct. This i...

@fsa,

Thank you for responding... O wow, I didn't know that. I thought that because now he's a member of EEA he didn't need to and family permit will essential revoke it.

EEA Family Permit Application (Deportation/Criminal record)

Hi everyone, I wanted to ask for advice from anyone who knows or has applied for family permit in the uk after deportation. My husband committed a crime (used a false british passport to obtain work) and was sentenced to 12months. This was 8 years ago, never been in trouble anytime before or after. ...

Re: Ireland Re-entry Stamp? can someone clarify

Hi Robster, The re- entry visa will be valid for the duration of her temp 6months Visa . That means, it will expire when her temp 6 moths visa is due to expire. When she is issued with her 5 years 5 Residence card... she will now have freedom of movement and NO longer need a re-entry visa(she can co...

Re: Traveling into North Ireland without wife?

To my knowledge, As A British Citizen you can travel to the UK as many times as you want, this does not affect your wife's temporary status in Ireland as she will not be traveling with you (because she will remain in Ireland). The restriction to travel to the uk is NOT with you but with your wife. Y...

@ Appiah Thank you for your advice. Lol @not disclosing any crime in Africa. He's never been in trouble with the law before... only the one incidence with the false British passport...it's an automatic 12months sentence and removal from the uk. :cry: But that's the law...and he's not above the law. ...
