Based on the document released a few days and posts from other seniors on this board, the points you got for age in your initial hsmp application would be carried forward to your extension also.

For stay i can suggest the YMCA Indian student hostel in central London. They oocupy both Students as well as anyone. check their website for more details: www.indianymca.org Good thing it's centrally located and indian food. Easy for attending interviews and having good indian dinner and no hassle...

Not necessarily, it is difficult to get job offers when outside the UK.

Just search the job boards and give print job details that might suit you, make sure that the jobs you print does have a salary quoted to make the EC officer know that you can earn that much when you take up the job.

VFS officers should stop commenting/suggesting about applications and applicant eligibility. HO has announced what is the eligible criteria and the applicants (with/without the help of consultants) are trying to put the best application they can and here we have the VFS people trying to say this doc...

hi

I have sent in the receipts (which are on letter head and signed) for the premiums paid. When you pay the premium ask for receipts. This was sufficient in my case.

Changes in Jan 2008? Could anyone who knows about this please explain. I am aware that the HSMP changes were introduced sometime in the begining of 2007 are there any other changes that is expected. I have read that biometric information scanning is going to be introduced soon for EC/FLR application...
