I just emailed them..They said I might be called for a second interview...I was highly suspicious at my interview being 5 mind long...thought the ECO didn't do his job properly..

No..I email them almost everyday...They just keep saying wait for few more days..

They are really taking things slow...60 days up!

I guess it depends on the ECO you get...Mine asked me hardly 4-5 questions..However, I am on day 59...still no reply...tomorrow will be 60 days..so I guess they're not following standard timelines right now..

Has anyone successfully claimed compensation from the UKVI for the lack of information they give during the application process? I think we ought to collectively start a petition and send it to our MPs.

Hi Geetl, Was your husband told of his visa outcome during the interview and did they inform him when he would receive his documents? I haven't got any email notifying me of the decision yet ... Congrats snehal..

Thanks snehal..but I think the ukvi has a grudge against me and is unnecessarily delaying my application on purpose!

Nope! Though they said I would only get my passport back next week, even if the decision has been made..

I just read on this thread that we can find out what made our applications suspicious to the UKVI, so when it comes to renewal, we can rectify those changes...Does anyone have the link to where we can find how to get disclosures?

Hi Snehal, Well the questions were really basic. I was asked where did you learn English? Where did you study in London? What visa did you go in the UK? Did you apply for any extension? Where did you meet your husband? Where was the wedding and how many guests? After these questions the ECO said he ...

Do you have any idea of what sort of enquiries they were conducting? Were they on your wife?

It's ridiculous...a tier 2 dependent visa takes 10 days and a settlement visa takes 60 days with a settlement visa not having any extra privileges such as benefits..and both take 5 years for ilr!

Hi everyone.. I received a call from the BHC today, saying that they want to interview me on 30th June... so nervous!!! This is nerve-wracking!!

Strangely they haven't called either of our employers...I wonder whether they just sit on our papers to make it seem as if they're enquiring but really do nothing?

Thanks everyone for your support...to those waiting-- do you think they are delaying our applications coz of some problem we may have with our documents? I can't think of any problems I might have..

Does anyone know what sort of enquiries ukvi makes? For example, for a spouse visa will they call my employers or only my spouse's?
