Return of PR (EEA) Document after leaving the UK?

Hi guys, I would really appreciate an answer to this question, if of course anybody has it :) If somebody has acquired a permanent resident document as an EEA national, but decided later on to leave the UK, does he indeed have to return it? Because I can read on the beforementioned document that it ...

Re: Multiple Citizenship reference?

Hi CR001,

Thanks for the information :).

I also know somebody with 4 different nationalities. I just want to see if there are restrictions, for example in Germany they do allow multiple nationalities but only inside the EU. I thought that this might be the case too here.

Thanks.

Multiple Citizenship reference?

Morning everybody, Thank you all in advance first of all :) I am aware that the British Government does allow dual Citizenship (https://www.gov.uk/dual-citizenship). But does anybody know where I can find anything written in law about Multiple (for example tripple) Nationality and if there are any r...

PR extended by 2 years when visiting from overseas?

Hi guys, I do have a question which I obviously couldn't find an answer to. Assuming that somebody got the permanent residence certificate as an eea national, based on the current legislation, if he moves permanently overseas but does visit the UK every 2 years, does it mean the permanent residence ...

Job Offer from Overseas during Naturalisation Process

Hi guys, Thanks in advance for your responses. If somebody gets a job offer (short term or long term offer) from oversees and decides to accept the offer, while his naturalisation application is still being processed, what will happen to the application? e.g. will a non-UK address be accepted for co...

Re: Return of ID documents more than 10 days

FYI

I used the link on Monday but no reply from HO i.e. no email, call or letter. So it will almost be a month since we requested the travel documents back.

Re: Return of ID documents more than 10 days

Hi there,

To be honest I was willing to give them roughly a month before getting in touch with them again.

The purpose of my post is just to see if people are experiencing a slight delay in the return of travel document as we do.

Thanks

Return of ID documents more than 10 days

Hi guys, I was just wondering if anybody is experiencing the same issue. My wife has applied for the permanent residence certificate as an EEA national more than 3 months ago. As we needed her passport back, we requested online for her travel document to be returned, without withdrawing her applicat...

Being on matrinity leave = exercising treat rights?

Hi guys, Thanks in advance for your time. If a woman (EEA national) is full time employed in the UK and then takes maternity leave, is she still exercising treaty rights? As you know, in general maternity leave is paid for 9 months of a total 12 months and the remaining 3 months are usually unpaid. ...

Hi there,

Well fair enough :) Makes sense what you are saying. I was just hoping to find an indicator showing that the application is approved before officially receiving the approval letter.

Thanks

Deduction of passport fees indicator of approval maybe?

Hi guys, I applied a few weeks ago through NCS for both citizenship and passport. I did read on the letter that I got from my local council back, that the money for the passports will be deducted after naturalisation application is complete. If the naturalisation application is approved, then the pa...

Hi guys, Thanks again in advance for all your help :) I was going obviously through the Home Office's, Passport Office's website and guidelines, but I couldn't find a concrete answer to my question.
