Re: Quick turnaround?

I got my second stage straight away, never went to the first stage. I applied in Feb, 2018 and I am still waiting on my approval, haven't heard anything since. I am not too sure whether I was lucky or not to go to the second stage straight away, it really doesn't look like it. A few friends that hav...

Forget about what you read on the internet. I had also been invited today to attend the ceremony on the 10th of September in DUBLIN. It is held in the National Concert Hall in D2. Best of luck to everyone. Wow, that’s mental! Apparently it’s true then. Happy for you all guys. Just hope that there’l...

The date has not yet been decided. But they will put in on the website in a couple of weeks. So looks like we just have to wait.
Hey, where did you get this info from?

Re: Ceremony dates?

I'm sure they'll have a new ceremony soon. If it is in November as people were saying here it is likely to be announced in mid-Sept as it was in 2016.

Re: Citizenship Refused - traffic offence

Hi Guys, Bad news for me as I got a refusal letter for my citizenship application today. It says decision is based on section 15 of citizenship act which allows the minister to decide whether someone is of a good character or not and to allow or refuse it. There is no appeals that can be made to th...

Re: Ceremony dates?

Oh that's really sad. They could invited you to take the last ceremony if they want. But they don't care at all. I don't how long my one will take. Anyway thanks Kavin.... I was just checking your post saying that there is no date for this year, but to be honest I doubt there wouldn't be a date for...

Re: Ceremony dates?

Today I learned that 3 people who applied in December 2017, February 2018 and May 2018 have received their approval letter.. so they have started sending approvals already. I applied in Oct 2017, second stage since November and every time I ring them get the same update "final stage, still pro...

Finally some good news about the next ceremony:). Did they say about when they would make an official announcement on the date? Hopefully this is true! Can't wait. Good news for EUFAM holders

Hi guys, Apparently, EUFAM holders do not need to be in the Non-EU queue anymore. Speaking to the officer he said that I didn't need to be in the Non-EU queue anymore as I didn't require a stamp (due to the EUFAM). So he said, no matter if I am with my partner or not, I can just use the EU queue now...

Thanks guys. It makes sense what you said!

In a last scenario where you didn't lose you and just forgot it at home (we're all humans and it can happen). As I have the stamp on my passport there shouldn't be an issue, right? - I just wanna be ready for any situation

Losing your stamp 4 eufam visa

Hi guys, quick question here, let’s say you’re travelling and you lose your visa or get robbed. Will the immigration officers give you a hard time to get into the country again? Supposing that you’re travelling with your marriage/civil partnership certificate & you don’t need a Re-entry visa. Ha...

Re: GNIB - Citizenship approval

Feel free to travel as long as you bring your letter that your naturalisation has been approved. It's not your fault that there's no upcoming ceremony, and if it is the case, they need to issue you a new GNIB card. I have a few friends that have travelled with the letter only, and they didn't say an...

Re: Ceremony dates?

I have emailed them and got the same response as above, that they do not have any upcoming date for 2018, which makes me think if we're only gonna have 2 ceremonies this year?

Obviously, there will be another one this year. It is impossible they'd only have 1... :|
