Tier 1 Genral to ILR

Dear All, I have some questions for Tier 1 G to ILR route and would like to consult you for ideas. 1. On the SET (O) form for the five year box, do I just put in the latest five-year absence record ie. five years history from now backwards? Or all the records from the first time I entered UK with Ti...

Re: overseas earnings for ILR

Agreement with HO??? Is that what they told you. Sounds suspicious that a 'big brand' will make such an agreement with an immigration arm of government. Such 'big brand' companies would usually prefer to be 'Tier 2 A rated sponsor', not be restricted to only employ BC's. So they want to employ you ...

Re: overseas earnings for ILR

I would question why a company has such a ridiculous policy. You have the right to be employed and work in the UK with your valid visa. I bet you there is something they are trying to avoid or a loophole they are exploiting. I would not risk such a setup. Your choice. You will have to declare 1 yea...

Re: overseas earnings for ILR

You have to pay tax in the country where the work is done, i.e. you are in the UK, you have to pay tax here. You will have to declare this to HMRC. I don't know why people choose to complicate things like this when on an immigration journey, particularly in a visa category like Tier 1 G that is hea...

Advice: amend or replace documents before Interview

Just got a letter for T1 G extension interview next week. On the letter, it says, this interview provides you with the opportunity to add to, amend or clarify any information previously provided. Questions: 1. If I need to submit additional supporting documents BEFORE the interview, is that OK? How?...

Urgent Help! Invoices difference for Limited company

I submitted my T1 G extension some time ago. Yesterday, I found out the small errors on the invoices I submitted and those originally sent to employer. 1. Original invoices sent to employer for weekly work did not have invoice date, and I added invoice date for submittion. 2. Original invoices sent ...
