Re: deception ILR refused

For ILR they check your last 5 year history and evidence of tax paid Thats true, however the main discussion in this thread is about the initial application, which is what many are worried about. And I thought the discussion was about whether or not it's a problem if a person's employer haven't pai...

Re: deception ILR refused

Thanks " hellonewhere". Thank you for your advise . I'll cantact them and ask them again. To be honest, you don't even need a P11D neither any confirmation from your employer. If you have a look at your payslip, you will have; Total Gross Pay to date:xxxx Gross for tax to date:xxxxx and o...

Hi thanks for your kind response. I tried to contact them but they said P60 is the final doc etc.I am not working with them any more may be that's why they are not interested. Re: deception ILR refused

@anumkh am sorry if my answer was too technical. Basically, what you received was a "salary sacrifice". Normally, this isn't included in your P60, that's why it shows a lower amount because there is no provision in PAYE Regulations for non-cash benefits to be taxed through payroll. If you ...

Re: deception ILR refused

Hi all after reading all the conversation I have a question. When I have applied my first tier 1 application back in 2010 , I have claimed that I am earning 29k ( calculated on the basis of Gross pay every month) and was approved by HO. But when I have received my P60 it shows only 23k. I have aske...

Re: Jobcentre help for foreigners

Can non EU get help from the Jobcentre in terms of finding jobs and applying for jobs, even if they don't intend to seek jobseekers allowance or other benefits? If you have the right to work, I don't see why not?. Jobcentres aren't only for those seeking jobseekers allowance or other benefits. You ...

Re: deception ILR refused

To ease your mind; If the employer hasn't paid over the tax and NIC, BUT the employee has payslips which prove that they suffered tax and NIC deductions, HMRC will usually leave the employee alone and go after the employer instead. If the employee doesn't have payslips, it is not that straight forw...

Re: deception ILR refused

@4s6s - just to elaborate on this - due to these issues of employers not paying the PAYE, HMRC started RTI submission, to avoid such situations. The sad thing is unless you get in trouble, you wouldn't know whether your employer paid the tax and NI on your behalf. But when you call them, they can t...

Have a look at your payslip and check whether NI and tax was deducted or not?. Also, there's a sticky on the forum, where you have the details of how to contact HMRC, to request missing P60s. Re: deception due to less tax submission impact on ILR

Noted thanks CR001, Well few of my friends did applied for Tier-1 General in 2011 and claimed Salary+Self-employment for income and again in 2013 they did the same format and got the extension as well. But in the both cases they haven't paid the tax on the exact amount they claimed to HO.They amend...
