Re: May 2014 - Naturalisation Application Timeline

Everyone tells me forget about it. It will come one day. I had forgotten about it for 13 months. How long more? No idea If you moved address, best thing to do is to submit the online form on their website. I would also do post redirection through the post office for 6months just in case it takes lo...

Re: Working abroad after ILR - affect on BC - urgent!!

Hi OP, If you apply in July and take up the position to move overseas then you can come back on holiday for the ceremony. It may or may not work but going that way your spouse will most likely have to wait, a lot longer. Hi Char, Please forgive me if my advice is not sound, just was thinking alterna...

I can login from anywhere but not from my phone which is on Three network.

Is the IP address for Three network permanently banned?

Could any moderator help, please?

Re: May 2014 - Naturalisation Application Timeline

I sympathise with you May '14 guys. I applied in Oct '14 but have toyed with the idea of withdrawing my application just to stop the stress. The Home Office rarely disappoints at it's below-third-world service. Be it was not for the almost 1k I would had withdrawn my application by now, I don't wan...

No reply from furthernationalityenquiries@homeoffice.gsi.gov

What would be the sensible course of action when Home Office fails to reply within 20 working days as promised if one emails to furthernationalityenquiries@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk?

Email them, again?

Re: General Discussion During Naturalisation Application Pro

Emailed FurtherNationalityEnquiries@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk almost 20 working days ago and still no reply, dire straits - absolutely appalling experience. If I were to receive refund I would have withdrawn my application without thinking twice.

Further Nationality Enquiries

Hi all,

I sent an email to further nationality enquiries last month and almost 20 working days yet no reply from them, I requested to know the status of my application.

Does this happen a lot?

Re: October 2014 - Naturalisation Application Timeline

What I actually meant was, even with a gap(as it was always said on 10yr ilr)--one's application for naturalisation could still go through.Don't forget, that some posts on this forum allege that,if you have a gap, that could be deemed as ''illegal stay'' in the UK,then your application for British Ci...

@waiz89k Thank you so much for clearing that one up. Apologies as it was only my blind assumption. Those numbers are ridiculously high and no way near the 99% completion claimed by the Home Office. I will be patching those figures through to my local MP along with my next complaint letter. @Simon I...

Re: What do they know FOI with Home office

@Siraj ud-Daulah I doubt the Home Office conducts "back home" checks. It does standard background checks, such as taxes, criminal and CCJ checks, etc. Only if something gets flagged in these matters would the Home Office then investigate further, I believe (I'm not certain) This is conjec...
