My friend is applying as a director of a limited company. His company year ends in december. His accountant have provided a generic letter about this is this sufficient?

....found it is yet to be assessed by an Entry Clearance
Officer (ECO). Your visa application centre or the entry clearance officer
(ECO) will contact you once a decision has been made or, if necessary,
during the consideration of your application.

This is extreme negligence and incompetency, Take them to court and lodge claim against them. You must have your sponsor letter or appendex which shows list of documents attached. Wait for esclation result and then go for review. Shall we all start some kind of a petition or call to action? reading...
