Hi All, I got my ILR in Feb 2016 (Tier 2 route) and brought my wife over on ILR sponsored spouse visa. She has now completed 5 years and needs to apply for ILR herself. We had a child in the interim who got british passport because I had ILR. We got child benefit and concession on nursery bills beca...

Hi, My wife arrived to UK on Mar 2016 under ILR dependent visa and we are applying for an extension. I just wanted to confirm a couple of things. 1) Apart from the form FLR(M) which can be printed out, filled and sent by post, we can also complete the application online and send in the declaration a...

Correct Form for visa extension

Hi, My wife entered UK in March 2016 under the ILR dependant visa. Her visa is valid till December 2018. I understand that the visa has to be extended for another 3 years before she can apply for ILR as well. I just had 2 queries: a) Is the form for her extension FLR (M)? b) Can we apply 3 months pr...

Irish visa waiver programme for UK tourist visa

Hi, My parents have a 10 year UK Tourist visa, and they intend to come in via London, but leave via Dublin after a 3-4 month stay in UK. Re: IHS Refund on dependant visa

Hi,

Her Payslip shows deductions towards National Insurance and Income Tax in two separate sections. I understand that a portion of Income Tax contributes towards the NHS? Regardless, I was wondering if I can approach UKBA with a request?

IHS Refund on dependant visa

Hi, My wife was granted a dependant visa on the basis of my ILR. She paid between £400-£600 as IHS fee for the 2 year visa. As soon as she landed, she got a job and has been paying taxes for the last two months. Would she be eligible for a IHS refund since she is paying taxes and has, hence, been co...

Re: VAF4A Documents Original or Photocopy

Thanks. Just one last question if you dont mind. I got ILR and I am applying for my wife's visa to come to UK. The category I am applying under is Settlement-Wife. That's correct isnt it? I wonder if I am being charged more because I am applying under the wrong category.

Re: VAF4A Documents Original or Photocopy

I will be adding a photocopy of my passport containing immigration stamps for when I came to India to get married. Would that suffice? Also, we were just filling out the application form, with her Immigration Health Surcharge, the final amount quoted by the UKVI is INR 1,89,000. Is this correct? Doe...

Re: VAF4A English Requirement for Wife

Re: ILR Refused Please help

I understand that I do a 40 hour week but instead of reducing my week, I am trying to calculate how much I need to be paid for 40 hours to satisfy the £27,200 per 37 hour bracket.

Income Calculations

Hi, I have failed my ILR application on the basis that my income was insufficient. My company has been nice enough to raise the income. I am just having issues understanding how they calculate the annual income. UKVI has asked me to have £27,200 based on a 37 hour week and I work a 40 hour week. Cou...

Documents not returned after refusal

Hi, I was refused my ILR on 4th Dec. They said they would not return the documents immediately because I have 14 days for administrative review and they hold all documents till that is completed. I have been waiting since but there is no sign of my documents in post. I have filled the online form as...
