I am planning to set up business in my native country and could visit UK once in a while or my children can visit later in life. Is it allowed or not? No. You have to treat UK as your home country then only you can keep ILR. If you use ILR just to visit UK once in a while it can be cancelled by the...

They asked for employer letter with less than one month old. My letter was 40 days old. OK. I visited HO two times just before the change of rules from 4-5. From that experience what I understud is they don't keep a record of people if they don't proceed with application on that day. Any way it won...

My personal opinion is they will decide straight forward cases within 3 weeks(as I've seen in PEO saying they aim to deal with postal applications within 3 weeks time in the year 2006). But there is another problem, we're loosing 2 working days because of Easter holidays.

If you are already in the country: and got WP approved on one date, later you got stamped. In this case as per I understand it is the date you got approval letter.

If you're out of the country: it is the date on which you entered the country not the stamped date.

I think, they should let you know in 4 weeks. They say they deal with 70%postal applications in 20 working days. You might can expect some delays due overload. Good luck. Let us know if you hear anything from HO.
