Excellent!!! And we don't use any public funds also. I think the question will catch the eye of many ordinary people and politicians if we compare our issue with current hot topic 'Deportation of Illegal Immigrants'. Question should be like this , - Why is govt imposing unfair and retrospective rule...
nope havent received anything from HO, finished 4 weeks already and still counting.I will ask them to expedite by next week if I dont get a response as I have to travel Chetkav who posted his application on 28th March has got his passports back with ILR on 27th April itseems. So they're(HO) complet...
Because Tier1 and Tier2 group people only can enroute for settlement according to Homeoffice. Oh! is it? I was thinking only Tier1(HSMP) people are eligible to apply for ILR after 5 yrs and also I was thinkng as WP holders come under Tier 2 we might not be eligible for ILR(after finishing 5 yrs) by...
If someone falls in Tier2 how can you think they're safe. Tier1 people are safe know?(as per as I understand). Total Zone, Page no 26 of the weblink provided by garichad, clearly tells that ICT(Intra Company Transfers) category people (like us :D) will fall under Tier2 in the new point based system ...
I am planning to set up business in my native country and could visit UK once in a while or my children can visit later in life. Is it allowed or not? No. You have to treat UK as your home country then only you can keep ILR. If you use ILR just to visit UK once in a while it can be cancelled by the...
They asked for employer letter with less than one month old. My letter was 40 days old. OK. I visited HO two times just before the change of rules from 4-5. From that experience what I understud is they don't keep a record of people if they don't proceed with application on that day. Any way it won...
You mean in the first step(at reception) where they check all the documents(before going to cash payment stage)? If it is Yes, then as per as I know they don't record it any where. What documents have they asked you to produce more? Hi, Could you please clarify my query regarding ILR (WP 5+ yrs) rej...

I got reply in 3 working days. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Office of John McDonnell <office@john-mcdonnell.net...

My personal opinion is they will decide straight forward cases within 3 weeks(as I've seen in PEO saying they aim to deal with postal applications within 3 weeks time in the year 2006). But there is another problem, we're loosing 2 working days because of Easter holidays.
If you are already in the country: and got WP approved on one date, later you got stamped. In this case as per I understand it is the date you got approval letter.
If you're out of the country: it is the date on which you entered the country not the stamped date.
Thanks for your concern. No, luckly I didn't loose £500. As in the first stage itself they told me that I'm 1day due to eligibility. My WP is valid until Aug 2006,need to extend it. Kavik, Aww, Sorry to hear that your ILR was not considered just because it was a day short. It is really unfair. Did y...
Hi Sonal, Congrats! I was there tooo(in Liverpool on 31st). I was the first person to be called(Ticket no 1  ).. As I was 29 days to four years. In reception itself she said NO.. Very disappoointed. But really it was not in my hands. so just romed in Liverpool streets to time pass until 5.30pm(...
I could not open site now. Could send us in detail what they metioned in Announcements? Also I would like to tell the forum about my friend's experience today about visitng PEO WITHOUT appointment. After standing in the que for 3 hours in the reception he has been told that CROYDON office is not acc...
I've just checked IND website now. IND site responds after 5 mins of accessing the page. There is no such news on their website. As you said I'm sending them a message now. But I don't think they will reply to emails on same day. can anyone lucky enough on their site send them a message: if they can...
I think, they should let you know in 4 weeks. They say they deal with 70%postal applications in 20 working days. You might can expect some delays due overload. Good luck. Let us know if you hear anything from HO.
