Now don't ask the stupid question that "why did you come here?" The answer is "because you promised something good." Ask those people how will they feel when... ...they take their car to manufacturer for repair and were told "if you don't like our car why did you buy it?&qu...

Olisun, If govt thinks they have made a 'Mistake' then should the in country immigrant suffer for that. There is nothing stoping them to come up with more tighter rule or rather stop the new immigrant coming in the country at all. But passing on thier mistakes share on the in country immigrants is s...

I think that is an unfair comment considering the fact that there are some people who are qualified and have not been able to get a job in their area of qualification. Buntosanya, if you cannot get a job (perhaps it is not even a fault of yours), there is nothing to do in this country. You can only...

Qualification under new rule

Has the bachelor degree need to be relevant to the profession. I am working in IT but my bachelors degree is in Commerce (specialing in finance). It this any reason to be worried about? I am sure lot of us may be in similar situation. What was the policy under the older rule? Appreciate your response.

I am sorry to be rude but I know whats the inside story and could not resist disclosing it.

At least in country application can amalgate the WP + HSMP period for ILR. As I read irrespective of the language of your degree you still have to pass the IELTS exam.

Another question though, what about the existing WP holder will they have to pass this new scheme?

Except that I submitted in 2004. I agree with people on board it is not only how good your expereince letter is but also at case workers discretion.
