Because of this also the Work Permit scheme hadn’t work . Except for Indians. ( I am not sure why , maybe because of their High-tech-knowledge image ) . It not the image.... Its the reality. I think for an Indian going back to India will be the best option since the extra bits in Australia or Canada is not worth sacrificing the good jolly days in India..... I hope majority of Indians will agree with me :)

Anyway, its not a big deal...and thanks for your help. These citizens are not just restricted to self-employment but in fact enjoy almost full employment rights in the UK, only being required to join the workers authorisation scheme for the first 12 months which is nothing more than a rubber stamp....

So it is confirmed that though switching from WP to HSMP will not reset the ILR time, but switching from HSMP to WP or any other category will reset the ILR time.

Dear first2last4... When u use online service...upon completing for...they ask u to take print out of form or to save the form...u do recieve an email... U need to take print out of that form..fill it and send it to NARIC...alongwith degree certificate and transcripts... Sorry Paramjit you missed m...

This link in workpermit.com state under APPLICATION section as

Successful applicants will be granted leave to enter the UK for one year,

I beleive it is 2 years!!!! am I right.
