As long as you mention the contact details of the referee, and make sure that the referee will answer the queries by the local BHC - don't worry about the size of the company !!

Hi, It is true that you will have to show some decent amount in your bank for a EC. I am in no way able to tell you what is the minimum amount required. The idea is for the EC to figure out what your income is, what your expenses are (which can get an idea of from your bank statements), and how much...

Hi Burlagadda,

Seems you are interested in HSMP but not in reading the guidance notes :D :D

All documentation MUST be in original. Photocopies are NOT ACCEPTED.

Go through the caseworkers' internal guidance notes, you will find the answers there - to whether you are missing any documents or if you are submitting excessive irrlevant documentation (e.g.- HSC certificate, offer letter, promotion letter etc. etc.).

Hi paramjit2k and AkashS, Have you read the internal caseworkers' guidance notes ??? One of the reasons you might not be getting answers is that no one might have tried what one of you is trying to do (send in brochures of companies), so there is no way of someone confirming to you whether you are d...

No disrespect, but you are posting questions that are already answered on this forum. This leads the people, who have experience and can guide others, to believe that the newcomers are only interested in being spoon fed - ask questions and get answers !! Not sure if anyone noticed, but the moderator...

Root,

People with legal residence permit (like HSMP) in UK can apply for visa of any country at the country's embassy / high commision / consulate in UK.

So don't worry about it. :)

The ECO might question as to why and how y...

If you are applying from India, you will probably need to submit all the documents you submitted for HSMP, not just the approval letter. That's what VFS told me when I had called to check.

Suggest you call up Mumbai VFS office and check before you travel to Mumbai.

Hi, 1. Youcan use wage-slips as one indpendent evidence of past earnings, but bankstatements can be used only for missing pay-slips and not as an independent evidence (as per the guidelines). Also, you need to submit a second independent evidence covering the correct 12 month period, and this need n...

Will this reflect in the payslips and will the employer be ready to certify this "grant" as your salary ?? If so, then I don't see why this shouldn't be part of "earned income".

As long as HO "receives" your application before the day you turn 28, it will be considered as "under 28" application.
