From what I know, if there's no one to receive the recorded delivery they leave a note saying that you can collect the package from the nearest postoffice. Whether it gets delivered in 1 day or more, depends if the sender has used 1st class or 2nd class postage.

The minimum duration of the intial HSMP EC is 1yr. It's just that it is not mandatory for the ECO to either issue 2yr. visa or 1 yr. visa. It is at his/her discretion - predominantly based on the evidences submitted by the applicant - whether a 1yr. or 2yr. visa is issued. So don't worry, no ECO wil...

Hi,

It all depends on the Entry Clearance Officer (ECO). The policy guidelines say that an ECO can, at maximum, issue a EC valid for 2 years. Nothing stops him from issuing a 1 yr. EC.

The question is whether you can request an ECO for a 1yr. or 2yr. EC ?? I guess not !!

Tax Return will be considered as an "independent" evidence of past earnings only if it corressponds to the correct 12 month period. I would suggest that you include the following if your tax return doesn't cover the correct 12 month period:- 1. Salary slips for the 12 months. 2. Letter fro...

Hi,

I don't think you have any other option but to wait. You must show earnings for the last 12 months prior to your application (unless you have been a full time student in that period). In this case, you are unable to do so !!

Wait till you complete 12 months.

When they can enter to the UK after getting EC. Here you have t...

Once you get a HSMP approval from within UK, you need to use the FLR(IED) form to apply for LTR on basis of HSMP. Yes, you get 6 months to apply for LTR. It costs GBP 335. But be advised that it is your responsibility to ensure that you have enough leave to remain in UK (on your PFT) when you apply ...
