hi, we applied 1st week of January .... still waiting, wait is agonising hi suzannedel, which day did you apply ? did you have any responce from HO ? we applied 6 of January, its been 5 months now, some people already got their answers when applied in January, :cry: . good luck to everyone

hi akz, what im sure of is that the naximum time allowed gap is 6 months so if shes considered to be self employed because on a maternity leave its fine, but 39 weeks means nearly 10 months gap ? its more than the 6 months allowed akz. its too much please ask another solicitor to keep your mind in p...

Hi akz,

that's exactly what we've been told by our solicitor, that maternity leave count as a gap, therefore the maximum gap allowed is 6 months in the whole 5 years period.

Hi Akz, I'm in a similar situation here...I was refused due to insufficient self employed doc. You definitely have a better chance of getting ur PR if u appeal....however write the caeworker for reconsideration and point out the mistake u mentioned,including the 18months maternity leave...... Hopefully you mean your husband applied for PR, not ILR which is only applicable to UK regulations, not the EEA route. casa, I don't really know the exact name, its my husband case and he went through a solicitor, I thing you re right it should be Permanent Residence under the European law because ...
