Re: Incorrect travel dates

Did you received only 5 Years of eborder travel history data or more?? I requested all travel dates since I arrived in the UK in 2007 but the oldest noted in there was from 2013. Having said that - I don't think I traveled the first few years after my arrival. If I did - I don't remember and there ...

Re: employment history 2008-09

I have requested SAR (HMRC). Once I receive any document from them then I can find out whats going on .Once details are received from HMRC I can ask HMRC to link that record to my new NI number. Will update the thread once I receive anything from HMRC. Param Will be interesting to hear when you rec...

Re: EEA national applying for BC without PR

Hi guys, First of all congrats to all fortunate enough to get their BC without PR. Unfortunately my case isn't so lucky and I have just received a letter refusing my application. I'm a Slovak national, living in London almost 11 years, working full time all these years and got my BA degree in the p...

Re: March 2015 Naturalization application timeline

One sincere advice to all the good people waiting for decision on their applications, please do not check the status every day, it will only aggravate your restlessness and frustration. Personally I would suggest this should be the last thing to be worried about, as your frustration doesn’t expedit...

Re: Incorrect travel dates

I was worried about the same thing. I am from the EU and therefore don't have any stamps of trips to my home country to visit my parents. What I have done instead - and I am glad I did - is request my e-border data from the border agency via SAR (Subject Access Request) I asked initially whether it ...

EEA (Married) - No PR - via NCS // Supporting Documents

Hi, I know there are countless posts, in fact, at some point I had 45 browser tabs open with threads where people discussed supporting documents. But none seem to have a similar case to mine (typical). Supporting document required are, in principal, - My Passport - Driving License (Used it as ID for...

Re: What is the right order?

Doesn't it a bit depend on how easy it is to change your name in Hungary? Once you are British and you got a British passport, I thought you have the same rights I.e. Changing your name. That costs like £15 to do. I am German and I had the same idea. However,German law does not even permit me changi...

Re: Unsuccessful applications

Im not worried about that. im worried because the acknowledgement letter says on it ' Type of Application; AN6(1) and not an6(2) AN6(1) is for those applying NOT as the spouse of a BC...ie, students, Tier 2,3,4 andso on... NCS lady seems to think they just sent the wrong standard letter I thought i...

Re: EEA Application - 1.50-1.53,2.4-2.5 ?!? (non-PR)

I am indeed married to a British and I see what you mean. I guess I could add marriage to the basis of stay as well for good measure. You could, if you meet other requirements , I would request also to book NCS and apply. Good luck. I do meet the other requirements, thanks. I arrived in the UK in 2...

Re: EEA Application - 1.50-1.53,2.4-2.5 ?!? (non-PR)

No it isn't part of that. But if you are married to British Citizen then you could apply under spouse route. But if you are being truthful of your basis of staying in UK and if it was different than just working, then showing your work history in relative part, then you can see how the form doesn't...

Re: EEA Application - 1.50-1.53,2.4-2.5 ?!? (non-PR)

In your case it is straightforward, but it could be the multiple names in that fields, e.g. basis of stay marriage but also worked, etc. So I wouldn't moan that much :) I would agree to members in this link that EEA folks have it easier than non-EEA route folks. Besides, citizenship is a privilege ...

EEA Application - 1.50-1.53,2.4-2.5 ?!? (non-PR)

This is mental (and probably why people apply for an EEA PR certificate first, but anyway, that is a different topic. Is it just me or is it all repeating itself ? Section 1.50 - 1.51 // needs your current employer Section 1.53 // needs your employment history, including from / to and address Sectio...

Re: Advice on filling form AN for naturalisation

I am confused about the duplicate sections (EEA National here). In Section 1.53 - you enter your employment details during the past 10 years In Section 2.4 - you enter dates again (basis of stay / worker / employed etc.) In Section 2.5 - you once more enter the employer details from section 1.53 ?? ...

HMRC Employment History just not coming

Months ago I sent the HMRC an employment history form https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/national-insurance-employment-history-request I hear people used to get the answer within ten days (people on the phone kept telling me to use the form rather than calling) and the form also states not t...

I give up on EEA(PR) - Bloomin' HO

When I initially looked at getting the British Citizenship, I read in the AN guides that it is advisable to get a document certifying permanent residence first, as otherwise the application might be delayed. The same was advised by people here in the forums. So I started to look into EEA(PR) - Need ...
