Re: Delay on ILR Set(O) Priority Service

Since you've paid for Priority Service and they are delaying your application, make sure that you ask for a full refund for the Priority Service fee. There is no refund to be given. The priority service is NOT a guaranteed service. If they inform within the priority timeframe that a priority decisi...

They can still be referees even if their passports have expired.

Also note that the professional referee doesn't need a British passport, only the other referee.

Re: transferring citizenship ceremony to other council

If you decide to change the council, you have to call the Home Office and let them know and they will ask your current council to send your certificate back to them and they will have to send your certificate to the new council. This could take up to 6 moths again. its not as easy as just changing t...

Re: Naturalisation Certificate lost

You do realise delivery to a PO box can't be "signed for". that is irrelevant. I have worked in the post office. When you post something 'signed for' to a PO Box, the status of your delivery will change to 'signed' as soon as the item is collected from the PO Box. some PO Box holders woul...

Re: Format of referee signatures

it clearly states that you have to print off the forms, attach your Photo on them, take them to your refs and get them to sign the forms(s).

So that means, the signatures should be done manually.

By entering the ref number(s), they can simply chec...

You are overthinking. Employment is not a mandatory requirement for a visa. Hi. this is actually application for a British Citizenship, not visa. I think they are quite strict when assessing someone's 'good character'. You are still overthinking. as said before, this is not mandatory. you can be un...
