Hi guys , im claiming ESA income based single ,im a uk national born over here and my wife is indian national with no recourse to public funds ,is it possible to claim jointly for ESA income based for couples without going against the the public funds rule ,i am the main claimant of my claim however...

she was called to an interview ,and altho im out of employment at present she was granted entry to the uk .

Thx for the reply and advice john,
but what happens if the sponser is made bankrupt due to debts and the bank account is closed ,does this mean the wife cannot come to the uk for the period of bankruptcy i.e 6 years .
