Re: After surinder singh...UK residence card application

Would you advise re sending all the family permit evidence? Only what if the home office decides to nit pick through your evidence and deny your RC application?

There are 2 ways to apply: fill out specific form and re send all SS evidence we sent off to get Family permit......or....apply with a let...

Hi guys We are nearly ready to apply for UK Residence card...and just wanted to gather people's opinions. I am thinking of doing everything super correctly and send off form plus Surrinder singh evidence. Is this the best way? To show home office we have nothing to hide? Or is it better to avoid sen...

After surinder singh...UK residence card application

Hi Just looking for some advice on the next steps after we get back to the UK with EEA family permit from ireland. I'm assuming it's not just as simple as "sending off" our family permit docs and wait a w months, right? Are there other things to do first? Could someone enlighten me on what...

Centre of life for EEA family permit

Hi guys, just wondering if you could give me advice on how to make my centre of life as strong as possible. Only been in Ireland for a few weeks, but I want to plan ahead and think of the future, so in a few months we'll be ready for UK family permit. Thinking about getting gym memberships. Both of ...

Getting 90 day stamp

Hi My wife and I will go to Dublin from UK with UK visa. We have chose to go by ferry. Will we be able to get her stamped at the port in Dublin? People on other sites have told me that by ferry she will not get stamped...and then she would overstay her UK visa and become illegal. What to do? Should ...

Re: appostille on marriage certificate?

I'm pretty sure it's not appostile. But we now have no time to get it...so we will try our luck and go with our UK visa and notarized translation...and we will see what happens. Really don't like the system in ukraine. Nobody tells us anything untill last minute, and they have messed us around by gi...

appostille on marriage certificate?

Hi We are planning to go to Ireland with UK visa. When we present our marriage certificate at the border, does it have to have an appostille? We just found out about this a few days before leaving and now don't have time to make it. Will they simply accept us with notarised translation? P. S. Certif...

Re: Ireland and eu1 form

Ok thank you for your help. So upon arrival, whether by plane or ferry (I might drive there) I will ask for her to get a 90 day stamp in her passport, and then go on with the plan from there.

Re: Ireland and eu1 form

But the visa waiver program states that she can stay 90 days, or until the end of the UK visa,(whichever is sooner). this would give her 2 weeks in Ireland, not 90 days. So...does this mean she only has 2 weeks? Or because we are married and not just going on holiday, can we do something for her to ...

Re: Ireland and eu1 form

So basically, we could go to Ireland, with UK visa (which is valid until 27th of September), show them marriage certificate and ask them at the border to give us an Irish visa there and then? Also showing them the link you sent me? Then my wife could stay a for 90 days? Could this not cause problems?

Re: Ireland and eu1 form

Hmmmm....well...thank you, this is interesting, because maybe there would be a chance to apply for EU1 form straight away. We would have 2 weeks before her UK visa runs out. Would this be enough time?

Are there any requirements to meet before sending off application for EU1?

Re: Ireland and eu1 form

I'm sorry, but I don't really get the meaning of your post...could you explain more simply please? Do you mean that it doesn't matter how she came to Ireland? She can simply do EU1 with UK visa?

Ireland and eu1 form

Hi

My wife from ukraine will get a type C visa, (to either accompany or join, not sure yet) me in Ireland. When we get there, can she apply to fill out the EU1 form? Even with a C visa?

And Is there any chance she can do the EU1 using UK type C visa?

Re: Accompany wife visa problems

Well apparently, we can't use type C now, because it can't be extended after 3 months. We need 6-9 months for me to work in order to get EEA family permit and return to uk. Now I must go alone, and she must get type D once I have appartment and job...

Ok, thank you for your help. One more thing...do you like Dublin? What's it like to move around the city? Is it better to use public transport or have own car? And what about prices for buses, food ect?

...so realistically we can't fit both things in? Is it best to commit through the whole visa/ireland process rather than her come to Ireland, leave for a bit and then come back again?
