Re: BRP incorrect valid from and expiry date

OK

I will post my history shortly and my old post had been locked as I havent posted anything since Dec 2018. But my main question is if I can travel whilst the BRP is being corrected? I have a BRP in hand which has incorrect dates on it. and rest if the details are accurate.

BRP incorrect valid from and expiry date

I have finally received my BRP today after more than month since arriving in the UK. It was an uphill task to deal with BRP after PO returned my BRP back to HO as uncollected even though I arrived within 30 days. The valid from date and expiry date were incorrect by more than 9 months (no surprises ...

Hi, I just had my partner's appeal allowed @ FTT 10 days ago. Judging by other's experience looks like we are in for a long haul to get the visa stamped.

Re: Spouse Visa from India

HO might call from a private number. I am not 100% sure. Have you tried googling the number. My husband applied in India but the call is from local embassy and we verified the number on the deputy high commission's website.

Re: Illegal person married to British citizen

Home office have 14 days to reply if you launched PAP. Taking your wife with you to reporting won't make any difference. If you don't have anything pending then they are likely to detain you. Or they might extend your immigration bail until they sort your paper work. Check with your solicitor if the...

Visa Interview - Spouse settlement

Hi, My Husband applied for spouse settlement on 18/09/2018 and submitted biometrics on 19/09/2018. He received a call today from British High Commission asking to attend a telephone interview tomorrow. I have not received any such requests. Do HO interview both Sponsor and Applicant? or just the app...

Re: Spouse visa - Housing Report needed?

Regarding payslips, get them stamped and signed. Also get a letter from HR stating that the payslips supplied are genuine and that they are delivered to you electronically. I did that for an added peace of mind. Your partner just need to take online appointment confirmation, a copy of online applica...

Re: Mailing and document expiration

So if I were to apply on the 21st February say, I would then have 28 days from that date to mail the documents, or to mail the documents and have them arrive? Still a bit confused  What I meant was all docs you are sending must be dated within 28 days preceding your application date i.e. 21st...

Re: Fiance Visa - No refusal or acceptance?

Thats Weird!! Atleast they should send you a letter, if rejected with the documents. Did you speak to your solicitor? I dont think they will send anything to solicitor. I would recommend either calling or emailing UKVI contact centre quoting the application reference. DOnt think they are open over t...

All documents need to be within last 28days of online application submission. The most recent payslip should be within 28 days and the other need to be stamped and signed by HR if they are issued electronically. Other docuents such as bank statements, mortgage statements, letters from employer etc.....

Is it spouse settlement visa or FLR(M)?

Hi,

Its a standard procedure to return the documents before a decision is made.

Did she receive the passport back? If not I would advise you to wait for the decision.

Re: Clarification regarding Passport Collection

Check with VFS. I think you partner has posted the same question under the username veenz yesterday. As far as I am aware you will need the receipt and envelope stub given to you at the time of bio metrics. Contact VFS and they should be able to let you know.

Re: Received VFS SMS and No Email

I think he can go and collect his Passport, if you have not opted for courier service. With regards to receipt I think he will need it as my husband was told to bring it when he receives email/SMS from VFS. He was given a receipt and envelope stub pinned together.
