Re: Boarding card for EEU family member

Fingerprints is normal procedure for biometric card holders. I (Lithuanian national) have been travelling with my husband (Egyptian national) who holds permanent resident card and he has never filled boarding cards. Not even when travelling alone.

Re: Dependant EEA national

All of my friends are in a bit of denial still with regards to brexit and what it may bring with it :) many of them still dismiss the idea of having to obtain any kind of document confirming their status. Many take their rights for granted. Some need a bit of kick in the ... and digested info to go ...

Dependant EEA national

Hello everybody. I seek your advice on behalf of my friend who is Lithuanian national and holder of PR certificate since 1 year ago. My friend's pensioner mother, after her husband passed away relocated to the UK and joined her daughter (my friend) in her household. This was 5years ago. Since then t...

Visiting Irealnd on PR form UK

Hello, can a nonEU husband who hols UK permanent resident card (sticker in passport) travel to IRL with his EU five with no visa?

Note: nonEU national holds PR which does not state EEA Family member or similar wording. It's an old type of PR.

PR for child under 5yrs old

A question on behalf of my friend who doesn't have an account here. Can a child under five be added to parents PR application form? And get PR? she phoned HO helpline they said yes, she even said child is so young he doesn't have an passport/ID yet, they said it's fine. My frined and her child are b...

Re: SAR for PR date

Off-topic but If someone didn't register for WRS properly (and so were delayed) and only acquired RR perhaps as late as mid-2016 as a consequence then obviously that could have implications in relation to the birth of a child and child's right to a British passport. True, however she applied in the...

Child passport refused as WRS failings delayed parent's PR

I applied for my husband's fast track SAR last month and received last week after 20 days. I did come with his PR aquired date and for my surprise, even with mine PR acquired date ( as I have PRC as non-eu immigrant and husband, who is EU citizen, was the sponsor.) We ticked all the 3 boxes and wro...

Re: SAR for PR date

So there's nothing else we can do? I really want to help my friend. 2 SAR requests, one standard, another fast track and no luck. If they wrote "we do not have this date in our records" that's fine, but not they write something absolutely irrelevant. like they once again did not understand...

Re: SAR for PR date

Hello yet another unsuccessful SAR request outcome. We asked for the date when PR was acquired, they send us dates when it was applied for and issued. Seriously, what's wrong??? Why others seem to have no problems getting this information from HO? http://s008.radikal.ru/i306/1612/cd/83d2a019472et.jpg

The bundle of documents we used to apply for his PR card - including 5 years worth of bank statements, wage slips, proof of address, etc.
why is this bundle needed if you are sending his PR anyway?

Re: PR without WRS but with Residence Permit

As far as I remember RC for A8 nationals prior to 04/2011 were issued only after submitting evidence of WRS+12months of employment. So it makes sense that holding a RC card (date of issue earleir than 4/2011) can be enough even WRS docs are lost as it could be given only if WRS rule was satisfied.

Re: Bank statements for document certifying PR

Hi, why are you sending these bank statements for? PR form actually says that applicants need to send proof of residence (like bills, statements, gp letters etc) 2items for each year spacing them every 6months. It also states letters should be from different sources so bank statements-only might not...

Re: SAR for PR date

So I see that the form was correct and the address was correct and response letter was issued by UKVI. From noajthan link I can see that the wording of request was also fine. They also say you can write to them if you are not satisfied with an answer which is what my friend will do, but how to expla...

Re: SAR for PR date

The form used was Subject Access Request form UKBA (2015). Sent to the address written in the form.

The wording of request was:

Please disclose the exact date when I, name surname, acquired permanent resident status in the UK (not the issue of permanent certificate date).

SAR for PR date

Hello,

My friend recently got her PR certificate (EEA national) and used SAR to find out what is the actual date she obtained PR according to HO. However she received such response (please click)
