Is it on page 83? If yes, it wasn't ticked in my application.

You may need it, as I have it in my employer letter, which is 40 hours per week.

No. I don't think so. also may be two recent photos? It is about the same list requested by my solicitor, in addition to all bank accounts I have. I don't think it is necessary, she is just making a strong stand for the application. I don't have the absence letter from my previous employer either (j...

Re: ILR Success @ Belfast

Hi kaps2804, I noted that you apply for ilr via tier 2 route. I wonder if you submit any previous employer letter for absences or any other confirmation from them regarding the length of service & pay. I only have historic letter and my solicitor is suggesting it may raise questions from case wo...

Re: ILR approved success

Hi,
Thanks for the information. Which category do you apply under? If it is tier 2, do you submit any absence from any previous employer?
I am not able to secure one from my previous employer who is not so helpful for any form of support.

Kind regards,
mmo

Hi pythonista, Sorry to throw a question at your question. I am also in the same situation. I sent an email to previous employer requesting a letter for the ILR application. Not hearing anything from them yet. I am applying next month, going for in person application in Sheffield. I will be waiting ...

Hi avi, I will do. I am thinking to submit the email I sent to them if they refuse to do (which is something very likely). Also I have air etickets in my inbox from my holidays to see the parents. Hi kautya, Thanks for the reply, it is really helpful. I also spoken to my solicitor about this this morning and she is adamant about getting it from former employer. I have just emailed them to see how they respond now. I just doubt that they will do. Since I have left them a few years back and the...

Hi rami1988,

Did you manage to sort out the ilr with your own letter? I am in the same boat, having difficulty getting absence letter from former employer. I have to write my own as well, applying next month.

Thanks,

Absence letter from former employer

Hi, I am a tier 2 holder applying for ilr in three weeks time, my solicitor just send me ideal template for absence letter from former employer. Re: ILR- Tier2 - P60's DO NOT MATCH COS!

Thanks Tallat, I am going for in person appointment and am not so busy at work at the moment. So just with my wandering mind, all possible bumps come to my head. I got my tier 2 in June, so I could argue that April and May pays are on old lower rate, if they happens to want to see my employment hist...

Re: ILR- Tier2 - P60's DO NOT MATCH COS!

Thanks Tallat for reply such quick. :) You are a star. I am in similar situation. My first year of 5 years shows an earning less than what is mentioned on the SOC. After that, it is all good though. I have lost p60 for second year as well. So I asked for employment history from HMRC, which hopefully...

Re: Tier 2 ilr salary threshold

I got another question, my rate is currently about 35690.00 per year for 40 hours per week. I just been doing some calculation regarding 35k for 39 hours per week.

39 hours = 35000
40 hours = (35000 / 39) * 40 = 35897.43.

Does that mean my pay is not eligible yet? :(

Thanks.

Re: Tier 2 ilr salary threshold

Hi, Thanks for the reply :) As additional support role, it is just over 2400 a year more I had secured for myself. My base pay is 33200 per annum. So total is more than 35k. Soc code for my job is 2136, which is 29600 per annum. I am not sure if I missed anything though. I will have about 8 payslips...

Hi both, thanks for the reply. I just concern a bit too much. I have managed to get extra duties at work. But that will come as additions in my payslip, rather than under base salary and I am not sure that will be ok?

Re: MAC review of TIER 2 route

Hmm, increasing SOC to unreasonably high might be bad news for people like me who work as software engineer earning just over 33k. I will keep watching the news and update this thread. I have been reading all of the news, and I suspect they going to increase or even limit the Tier 2 visa. I am plan...

Tier 2 ilr salary threshold

Hi,
I am earning currently just over 33k excluding bonus and eligible for ilr in May 2016. Assuming I can get additional duties and salary, I will be over 35k by that time.

My question is, is 35k requirement applied to at time of application or whole fifth year?

Thanks,
mmo
