Re: FLR(FP) Application time

I gave UKIV a call today and after 40 mins wait I was told that I'd get a call back. 10 minutes later I received a call and was told to write a letter to UKIV Sheffield asking for an update on your case. So I'd like to know if should write a letter direct to the point stating facts or plead a little...

Re: FLR(FP) Application time

does anyone know what number I'd have to call Home Office at to see about my application? And do you think it'll be wise to chase them up now considering the circumstances?

Re: FLR(FP) Application time

Although it might not be affordable, I think you need to consider changing to a different solicitor. It sounds like he has got the money from you now, and now he doesn't really care to be honest. :|[/quote] I know but we've already changed our lawyer, they're all like this! Guess I'll have to phone ...

Re: FLR(FP) Application time

I think you need to be asking your solicitor why they aren't doing more than just sending a reminder to HO. Two years, even for the Home Office, is totally unacceptable. It's an FLR(FP) visa app yes? I had to remind my lawyer 2 times to send the reminder! He doesn't even care -_- Yes it's FLR(FP) 7...

Re: FLR(FP) Application time

Thanks for the great advice. No, It's a 7 year child concession case, we applied in 2015 when my child spent 7 years here after a failed asylum case earlier which took our right to work here. This makes it even harder for us to wait. Oh...sorry to hear that. Are you currently overstaying then? Alth...

7 year child concession

Hi guys, I've applied flr (fp) with my family which is based on my child who spent 7 years in UK. He was 16 when we applied and it's been nearly 2 years and we've not heard back from them yet. So I would like to know if it's better for us to wait until it's been 2 years and my child is 18 to send th...

FLR(FP) 7 YEARS CHILD

Our FLR(FP) 7 Years child concession was submitted by solicitor on June 2015. At that time my children were 16 and 19 and we had been living in UK for 7 years after failed asylum. It's been nearly 2 years and we have not heard back anything from the home office. So I would like to know if it's norma...

Re: FLR(FP) - when will I get decision

Home Office decision making for FLR(FP) applications is generally a lengthy process. You should be prepared to wait up to one year or more depending on the complexity of your case. It's been a year now, I am just worried that they might be just waiting for my son to turn 18. He is 17 now and the ca...

FLR(FP) - when will I get decision

Hi, I've applied for FLR(FP) seven years on child basis this time last year. There is no reply from home office, my lawyer said that we have to wait until october to challenge them to make a decision however before she said we could challenge them once the whole year is completed. Re: FLR(FP) and Discretionary Leave to Remain timelines

Me and my family have overstayed in UK for 7 years and we've applied for FLR(FP) however I was caught in a shop where I went to see a friend and HO has put charges against me. Re: College?

What is your daughter's status? Is she either a British or EEA citizen or is she settled in the UK (ILR/PR)? If she is any of the above, she will count as a home student and get the appropriate loans, etc. If she is on a limited leave to remain visa, she will be an international student. Being an i...
