I don't hold my breath on quick respond in week time I'm going to wait for 5 months. Just downhearted really by all this experience.

Re: May 2015 Naturalization Application TIMELINE ONLY

What I albo noticed that HO responses/ approvals come in date batches. Have a look at excell spread sheet and it is clear that some days are nearly all approved and others not touched (I know I know on this forum is only small percentage of all applications, but just have a look) just interesting th...

Re: May 2015 Naturalization Application TIMELINE ONLY

Did anyone notice the approval date is not not dependent upon date of applying but is rather dependent on date of biometric letter issued. As this week is going by applicant who received biometric letter in 3rd week of June are getting approval (same in both cases of May and June applicants) I don'...

Re: June 2015 Naturalization Application TIMELINE ONLY

It looks like 4 -5 month wait until any approvals, with nearly 22500 applications pending in March and only 95 case workers, holidays etc, I'm not very optimistic. I am not sure are all those applications are AN or are they combined with MN. Nevertheless its a huge backlog :(

Re: May 2015 Naturalization Application TIMELINE ONLY

All approvals are prior 6th April. It will take time I'm afraid. I hope when HO starts on working post changes applications then it will go smoothly and quickly ... 2 months for me today, I hoped for quick approval and now Im actually getting ready for lengthy wait.

Re: WRS - first 12 months - company name changed

If you have any letters stating the company change, like payslips, P45 and P60 for that year (where it should state change of the company name or at least have some indication of the name change),attach them which your application. I did something like that (with the difference that my company chang...

Because if you are applying for citizenship you follow the same set of rules. Biometrics are not only to check your immigration status, but also to check in police system.

Re: Advice; Route for naturalisation as British Citizen (POL

Easiest option would be applying in 2016 as married to BC. If you've never registered with WRS earliest when you can apply would be 2017, 5 years after WRS expired and 1 year PR (which I believe is automatic after 5 years residency in UK - that is for EEA)
Hope it helps.

I am facing very similar issue. In few weeks time I'm getting married, so I'm planning on changing my surname. My passport is expired now and I've been traveling on EEA ID card, which is valid for next 6 years or so and it has my maiden name on it. And now where the issue will start, my ID can't be ...
