Re: Switching from Tier 4 to Tier 2 after November

https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/444701/50596_hc_297.pdf Scroll to page 36. The rules about working rights only apply to adult further education, or colleges. This would be schooling to prepare for entry into university for example. This is different from un...

Re: Switching from Tier 4 to Tier 2 after November

This is for college student, not uni student (bachelor, master, PhD)

I have a question concerning it effective date. It comes into effective date since 12.Nov.2015, so basically it applies to those whose T4 visa issued after 12.11.2015, or it will affect all current T4 holders?

Hi Could someone please help me for my queries? 1. What is minimum hours for Tier 2 general job, which is not in a short occupation list? 2. Does company need to mention hours in job advert? Re: Switch from tier 4 to tier 2 before completion of Master

Anyone? Hello pamsk, I think it would be faster if you take time to read documents from the Home Office, instead of asking in a public forum. According to it, "You can only switch into Tier 2 if you meet the following criteria: you must have successfully completed and passed a UK recognised ba...

Re: Restricted COS decisions for August 2015

I think those who claim that they are successful at 40 points do not know exactly about their point calculating. Apart from ur base salary, CoS salary also includes allowance, bonus, London weighing factor, pro-rated of ur salary to 39hrs/ 40hrs...etc...These factors increase their point to 45, not ...

Re: Enter on Tier 4 or Tier 2 to finish studies then work?

- Ur employer can write to the embassy to extend ur T4 validity, later you still need to exit UK on ur T4, and re-enter it on ur T2, given new regulation on exit/enter stamp[/b] How does this work exactly? Would they need to write an email/letter to the UK Consulate in New York just saying somethin...

Re: Enter on Tier 4 or Tier 2 to finish studies then work?

- Will my Tier 4 be curtailed when I apply for the Tier 2? => It will be curtailed once u are granted T2. T2 is only valid from 14 days prior to ur start date (in ur case, probably the beginning of Aug). Ur employer can write to the embassy to extend ur T4 validity, later you still need to exit UK o...

Re: Restricted COS decisions for July 2015

Hi both, What type of further documents they requested? In my opinion it's not an indicator since they always check all applications regardless of their points, so that they can 1st reject unqualified one...But when did u submit ur application? As I can see they ask for extra documents on 2th, which...

Re: Restricted COS decisions for june 2015

Well, I dont want to disappoint u but it's the latter case. There are more than (394+100) ppl with salary from 32-46k in Jun. They didn't disclose any further info so we never know it's 495 ppl or 1495 ppl. In my opinion, from now on, there will be domino effect and those who score lowest one will n...

Re: Restricted COS decisions for june 2015

May I ask if you got any suggestions from your sponsor, such as what are the other options once a rcos application is rejected, despite of reapplying in the next round? Will they consider including bonus into annual salary to raise the possibility of being granted a rcos, or deferring the offer to ...
