As next month allocation meeting will use the new table proposed, giving 20 marks for RLMT, so will the score for submitting eligible applications to be considered for RCoS will still remain at 32 ?

Re: Restricted COS decisions for September 2015

Hi psinghal,

Are your predictions for September based on some sort of analysis? because less number of certificates is not a reliable indicator for predicting cut off; very well explained in the month of August.

Re: Restricted COS decisions for August 2015

Hi ks227, What I meant was that you could still chose the SOC for your application, as its just the job title thats different in your application, for which you could refer to the example job tasks provided in the policy guidance documentas a matter of explanation. But ofcourse, it would still be do...

Re: Restricted COS decisions for August 2015

Hi ks227, If your JD matches the example job tasks (as given in this document) then your current job title shouldn't be a problem. Although my understanding is nill about engineering, but I think your job title can be modified, as well as explained, as per your job description in your RCoS applicati...

Re: Restricted COS decisions for August 2015

Hi Hannah,

There were more than 197 applications that scored 40 points in July, which is the next salary bracket that will be considered for allocation of CoS after the applications at 45 points have been granted (and not 44 - 32 ).

Re: Restricted COS decisions for August 2015

The number of certificates available for August allocation seems less for the backlog of applications with 40 points from June, July and August period. Assuming that if the cut off in August remains at 45, this situation would lead to siginificant number of certificates rolling over to September, th...

Re: Restricted COS decisions for August 2015

I think those who claim that they are successful at 40 points do not know exactly about their point calculating. Apart from ur base salary, CoS salary also includes allowance, bonus, London weighing factor, pro-rated of ur salary to 39hrs/ 40hrs...etc...These factors increase their point to 45, not...
