Re: New Tier 2 Scoring System? (Help)

Well I had worked there for 2 years already with my YMS visa. We tried reapplying last year around May/June and didn't get in because my point total was too low. So I had to come back to Canada. But for August and October it seemed like if we applied, I would've been accepted to come in. I definitel...

Re: New Tier 2 Scoring System? (Help)

Great to know. And super frustrating given that my previous employer has not applied for me in a few years. Silly question - now that I have you here - is there any other way I can live/spend my life in the UK as a Canadian without a sponsorship? Given that I do not have any family history there, ei...

Re: New Tier 2 Scoring System? (Help)

Yeah I gathered that. Though maybe I'm misunderstanding.

So there isn't a change in how the points are allocated and there aren't different qualifications and such for point totals?

a 39 a month ago is still a 39 now I guess is what I'm asking

RCoS allocation (Help)

Hi all, I was just browsing on the boards and noticed a little chatter about a new points system? I did some brief googling and couldn't find a new system - or at least one that was noticeably different from the one used in past months. Would someone be able to explain the changes? If I scored a 39 ...

COS Granted but with OLD Passport details...

Hi all, This came up in another topic, but thought I'd give it it's own spotlight here and would love your help. In June, my employer applied for a RCOS for me to work there again. They did this with my old passport details, they didn't have my new passport details. With that said, a COS was granted...

Re: Restricted COS decisions for August 2015

And still nothing?

I remember people in each month getting late replies. Wish I could be more of a help here :(

Re: Restricted COS decisions for August 2015

Hi Kartimohan, I am also still waiting for RCOS with 45 points. I don't understand is it reject or what? If you're still waiting, it's just part of the process. Seems like confirmations of acceptance or rejection can be made up until later on in the month. There's also the possibility that your emp...

Re: Restricted COS decisions for August 2015

So we can't confirm just yet that the cut-off was 36?

My employer didn't apply for me this month because we were rejected in June and July... this is such a bummer!!!

Congrats to those who received their COS.... I'm super upset on my end lol

Re: Rejected Tier 2 (June and July) - Reapplication Help!

Hi all, long bit short... 1. I was rejected in June and applied for July and was rejected then, as well. 2. With my rejection in July, it stated, and I don't know the proper wording, but to paraphrase - "This application will not be reconsidered." This is what was told to my employer and ...

Re: Restricted COS decisions for July 2015

Hi all, Congrats to those who got the RCOS. I was rejected at 38 unsurprisingly. I do have a question though. I was given a response that said "you have been rejected and cannot this applicant cannot be submitted for reapplication." Or something along those lines. What does that last part ...

Re: Restricted COS decisions for July 2015

Is the Restricted COS only for people within the UK?

How does the application for the Tier 2 differ for people applying outside of the UK to come into the UK?

Re: Rejected Tier 2 COS - Help!

Thanks GT2

Silly question - what's MAC and how might they change or influence the scoring and applicant system?

Another silly question - is there a limit to how many times you can apply? I'm seriously wondering when my employer might just want to cut their losses with me.

Re: Restricted COS decisions for July 2015

I'm at a 38 - good luck all.

Keep hope - glass half full, if this month doesn't work out, you can try again for August... right?

Re: Rejected Tier 2 COS - Help!

Hi there, Thank you so much for your reply! A few further questions: - Aside from putting out the advertisement, what else qualifies for a "pass" on the RLMT? As far as I know, this was fine - Speaking of which ^ - do different months provide a different "opening" I guess for app...

Rejected Tier 2 COS - Help!

Hi all, Long story short - I currently have been in the UK on a YMS, just finishing up my last few weeks now - My employer is more than happy to rehire me and ideally want to - My employer has applied for the COS but has been denied, with no real reason provided other than my job is not on the short...
