Re: Spousal Visa Application - Pakistan (Timeline Only)

Hi all, just a quick question for those who have recently applied for the spouse visas and had to submit docs to Sheffield. When it says u should write the GWF number on top of every page, what did u do with the original docs I.e. Birth certificate, nikah Nama etc, basically the ones that can't be r...

Re: Spousal Visa Application - Pakistan (Timeline Only)

@adnan111 Brother what u understood was correct. Initially when we submitted case, officer at VAC said u don't need hospital birth certificate, so we didn't submit it. We had the photocopy at the time. Now embassy is asking for original. That's y I was confused and posted on this forum, just to see...

Re: Spousal Visa Application - Pakistan (Timeline Only)

@sajjaduk Thanks for the reply brother, really appreciate it. Your answer does make sense. I have a copy of the original, not the original itsel. Original was a hand written document, which we requested from the hospital, they did not give it at the time of birth. I know it sounds strange. Personall...

Re: Spousal Visa Application - Pakistan (Timeline Only)

@adnan111 Thanks for the reply. U speaking from experience or just guessing? Because when my wife submitted the case at VAC, they told her we don't need the hospital certificate as u have the rest, so she didn't submit hospital birth certificate. However now the embassy ccontacted her stating we ne...

@s.y.h and faraway3301

Could you please tell me from what date your 30 days visa was stamped? And once you receive processed email, do gerrys SMS or email you that passport is ready for collection.

Feedback would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Re: Spousal Visa Application - Pakistan (Timeline Only)

@asim_sharif 30 days visa is basically how much time you have to travel before that 30 days visa expires. After 2.5 years, you have to apply again for another 2.5 years, which is I think exactly the same process, I.e. Visa fee, proof of employment, proof of relationship, etc. Once 5 years are comple...

Re: Spousal Visa Application - Pakistan (Timeline Only)

@sajjaduk Thanks for d reply bro but already tried that with our first child, and it took almost a year, and still the application was refused over a very stupid reason, and they advised me to register the child as British in the UK, then reapply for the passport. In the end didn't decide to go down...
