Most probably they lost the payment sheet and passed the off as declined payment or they entered the details wrong somehow!

Providing you haven't gone over your absence limit you should be okay.
Applying so close to Xmas though...it's unlikely they will touch your application until January.

Hoping you get yours soon.

11th June applicant here... approved 20th November.

Give it a few weeks and then email them. Not much longer to wait until it's been 6 months...can't really do much up until then.

@Uma 103 Grandparent details are not required. I checked with passport office as well. And I have been successful on both ocassions (check and send ) and online. Please ensure your signature stays within the box and not even touching the boundaries. Good luck Chowkal, did you not mention grandparen...

Although I've never seen what he certificates look like and since BC applications are processed in Liverpool o would've put Hone office Liverpool but if home office London is on the certificate then you should put that as the councils don't issue the certificates. they jus...

yeah my husband was same. came June 2012, ILR in July 2014 and BC applied for in June 2015 and approved a few days ago!

I was reading the ILRguidance notes and it says you don't need to declare FPN but I can't see why you would not need to for ILR but need to for British citizenship? does this good character thing only apply to BC applications,does anyone know? To be on the safe side declare it. it shouldn't have any...

The reason I ask is cos with a Prepaid special delivery, I know when it's gonna come so I can expect it with postie. secure delivery they can come anytime and I wouldn't neccessarily be in due to working evenings

There is an option to select on the first page of the passport application form to have your supporting documents returned by secure delivery. I would select that and add the associated amount to the total on your passport payment form. They wouldn't use envelopes supplied by the applicant. Indepen...
