It will come for you - try to be patient ( although I know how hard it is )

My husbands bosses wife who we know well is a cardiologist and has known my husband since 2009.

Is she accepted?

Naturalisation certificate enquiry

Hi All,

I was looking on Internet but can't find the answer I'm looking for.

When you're approved and the council receives your certificate,
is your approval date printed on it or is it the date of your ceremony that is printed on it?

if it's ceremony date, how do the council print it on there?

Re: Long resident? What are your intentions?

When we applied using NCS, the lady rang up HO and asked this question.

They said the first day you touch UK soil is the date you put in.
I found that it contradicts the guidance but we followed what HI said

Re: Need info

It can't hurt, plus it sounds like you already made up your mind.

Getting stuff sorted will help you feel better too and you will have more confidence when going for naturalisation

Good Luck!

Re: Need info

The Home Office don't notify applicants whether a credit check has been made when applying for BC. What checks are made by the HO (non criminal)? Credit checks are now being piloted for some nationality applications, if you have numerous debts that have defaulted and/or CCJs and/or Insolvency issue...
