Re: CoS unused & lapsed, new CoS for the same job post is po

It doesn't matter what date the CoS lapsed I think. What matters is if the RLMT was done within 6 months of applying. Assuming the RLMT wasn't just finished before applying in April, and you'd be applying in September, I do think you'd need to do another RLMT. Even if it was finished in early April ...

I heard and received my RCOS. Delay was on the side of my employer it seems, not the Home Office

Is it just me or is there some delay in them being released this time around? As in not all are released at once?

Re: Restricted COS decisions for August 2015

Looks like I'm reapplying again this month with 45 points after having the wrong SOC code on the RCoS in July (which had been granted but will be cancelled). Here's to hoping the minimum does not go up (and even better goes down!) Quick question: your employer put the wrong SOC code or the Home Off...

Bank account switch in 90-day rule

I currently have funds to cover maintenance in one savings account and will be applying in September. However I have been planning to switch banks prior to leaving. To do this I'd need to transfer all my funds (including the maintenance funds in my savings account) to my new bank. My question is: as...

If the SOC code is incorrect, your employer must return RCoS to HO and re-apply with correct SOC code. It is painful again but inevitable.
Thanks. Looks like my employer will be applying for another CoS in August

Wrong SOC code on granted CoS

Hi, My employer applied for a Restricted CoS on my behalf that was granted in the July allocation (I had 45 points). However, I have yet to be assigned the CoS or to apply for my Tier 2 because my employer noticed that the SOC code they applied with was incorrect. The one they applied for is to be f...

Good luck to everybody! I hope the points go down next month/soon

Re: Switch from tier 4 to tier 2 before completion of Master

Btw, note that while you can apply using an unrestricted CoS based on your circumstances and you don't need a RLMT, you can only apply from INSIDE the UK. If you apply from outside the UK, you need a restricted CoS and for your employer to do a RLMT. So you're better off going back to UK and applyin...

This would be schooling to prepare for entry into university for example. This is different from uni...

Re: Enter on Tier 4 or Tier 2 to finish studies then work?

- Ur employer can write to the embassy to extend ur T4 validity, later you still need to exit UK on ur T4, and re-enter it on ur T2, given new regulation on exit/enter stamp[/b] How does this work exactly? Would they need to write an email/letter to the UK Consulate in New York just saying somethin...

Enter on Tier 4 or Tier 2 to finish studies then work?

I am currently a Masters student on a Tier 4. My course ends in September when I have to hand in my dissertation. I am going to be starting my new job later in September after applying for a Tier 2 this month on a restricted CoS (I am currently in the US, where I'm from). I will be coming back next ...

Re: Switch from tier 4 to tier 2 before completion of Master

I think if you got your second Tier 4 no greater than 28 days before your first Tier 4's leave ended/was curtailed, you should be good to switch without an RLMT and before completing the Masters. If your course ended and you left the UK, and you applied for your new visa more than 28 days after that...

Ahh ok, so if I am a Masters student at a University these changes should not affect me then correct? See the memo at the end of the Statement of Changes. There are some changes across the whole of Tier 4 (maintenance, academic progression), some that affect Tier 4 Child only, but the biggest chang...
