Re: Citizenship Applications From 2020 Pending Approval

Will you mind sharing, please : 1) when you sent declaration and made online payment ? 2) when payment was processed ? Just trying to see how long it’s taking to get cert after declaration and payment submitted . Wifes cert just arrived today. After almost 2 years it's finally done!! We applied Sep...

Hey. In my experience, everything is taking a while, so don't panic. I think my wifes took about 6 weeks all in all.

Re: Citizenship Applications From 2020 Pending Approval

For the applicants of September 2020, have you tried sending FOI request to see their progress? Or ask solicitor to send a letter threatening with going JR route? They will ignore you otherwise. That would be a good idea, but again it's MORE time. 6 weeks ago they said the next communication would ...

Re: E vetting and citizenship application

Is there anyone here who sent signed declaration by post and Paid the fees but still awaiting the certificate? I paid in April. Thank you. Yup. Nothing yet. We paid the end of april. They took 950 out of my account and here we sit with NOTHING to show for it. Just one email this week saying it's no...

Re: Citizenship Applications From 2020 Pending Approval

Yeah. It's absolutely ridiculous. Wife applied in Sept 2020 and here we are almost 2 YEARS later. If this was a regular business, it would go bust. Terrible. Then they take 950 out of my bank almost 2 months ago and nothing. We should have got the cert by now. Again. If I purchased something 2 month...

Re: Has anyone received an invite for June 2022 ceremony

Yeah. It's a complete disaster. We did my wifes at the end of April and they said we would have the cert in 4-6 weeks. Now, nothing. No emails, no letters etc. And now it seems we have to wait EVEN LONGER that those who put their paperwork in later (not hating on these ones, it's just a fact). Hopin...

Re: Has anyone received an invite for June 2022 ceremony

4 working days left until the ceremony and I still haven't received the invite. Yesterday they said invitations are still issued, but what good is it to me if it's sent from Tipperary on Thursday and it won't get to me before Monday in Dublin, so I can travel to Kerry. Their inefficiency and inabil...

Re: Has anyone received an invite for June 2022 ceremony

Declaration and payment sent 26th April 2022 Email confirmation that payment processed 26th April 2022 application status on inisonline.jahs.ie is "Submitted" No letter of invite for the 20th June 2022 ceremony It's confusing to me how some people who submitted later in May had invites la...

Re: Has anyone received an invite for June 2022 ceremony

Yeah. It's all very frustrating. My wife sent off her declaration and payment on April 27th. Just got an email YESTERDAY saying it's been processed. We were not planning on going to a ceremony and are just waiting now on the certificate. Talk about a hot mess.

WAB / IRP Card Stamp 4 Confusion

Wife applied for Citizenship in sept 2020 (nothing back yet) 2 weeks ago my wife renewed her IRP card (stamp 4EU Fam) which is now has a expiration of 2022. Should w...

It took my wife about 8 weeks to get the temp stamp. So you are still in the time frame.

Going to the Immigration Office

Hey, my wife has to go the immigration office to get her temp stamp (huzzah). I was just wondering: 1) How long does this normally take at the office (will we be waiting in line for a long while)? 2) Is it best to go in the morning (or does it matter)? Just trying to figure it out as I have to take ...

Re: EU4FAM (people who applied recently)

Well, we finally got our passports back, with the letter to head to the garda for the temp 6 months stamp. We have to send them a couple more documents (one of which is a second pay slip), which we will send next week. So, it took about 8 weeks to get our passports back. All in all, it's looking good.

I know, it's crazy. We would like to get our passports back sooner than later. Don't like having my passports out of my hands.

Re: EU4FAM (people who applied recently)

It's been an interesting thread. My wife is still waiting for her (and my) original documents back (passports). We haven't heard ANYTHING yet, and it's been 6 weeks. Is this normal? Thanks
