Professional referee question

Hi, Can ex husband act as a professional referee? I called home office to enquire and the guy told me that he can't decide for me who I ask to act as my referee so obviously no help from them. Is ex husband considered as being related to me? I mean we are officially divorced so I understand that the...

Family of a settled person visa

Hello,
Can a non EU citizen who has a permanent residence due to former marriage to EU citizen bring another non Eu family member with a Family of a settled person visa. Is a person holding permanent residence card regarded as settled in the UK? Many thanks.

Re: Application for PR or PR card: form EEA (PR) - UpToDate

Just an update, I sent application form for document certifying permanent residence on 9th July, I did not receive any acknowledgement letters or e-mails, I sent only p60s covering period from 2005-2010, as proof of residence for that 2005-2010 period I only sent bank statements, I also did not rem...

[/quote] On an average, it takes 2-4 weeks for EU national. Since, you are from A8 as mentioned in http://www.immigrationboards.com/eea-route-applications/eea-pr-question-t189614.html#p1212062 and registered with WRS, it was a straightforward application. Re: Questions 2.4-2.5

I have just called the Home office and was told that 5 years of continous residency should be shown in section 2.5 starting with the most recent one , so in my case it would be 2010-2005... So everything is so much clearer now, as I thought "the most recent one" meant my current employment...

Thank you for the information. This forum is better for people helping out. May I request that in future if you were to contribute such information, which may be accessed often, that you write a better subject line. Re: Questions 2.4-2.5

Yes, you either provide a PR card if you have one or proof of exercising treaty rights in the UK for a continuous 5 year period. Hey, thanks for your response, however, it is confusing where to show that 5 year period in the form, as, for example, my 5 year period was 2005-2010, but in the section ...

Re: Questions 2.4-2.5

Hello, I would be grateful if anyone could explain me how to fill/answer the 2.4-2.5 questions of AN form. Both these questions asks to provide the evidence of excercising treaty rights and lawful residence for the last 6 years. So this is where this confusion arises-I am EU national, and became pe...

EEA (PR) form

Hello,

I have just read that if one applies using the old EEA form, but pays the correct fee the application can't be refused.
Has anyone tried that? I obviously would prefer to fill the older form as it asks for less information and is less confusing IMHO.

Just a piece of information, might be helpful for some

Hello, If anyone needs their employment in the UK history it can be requested by phone 03000560629. It is pretty straightforward, just tell them your NI, name and address. I thought it might be helpful as I'm sure many like me may have lost all or some of their employment supporting documents over t...

Re: Another question regarding EEA(PR) issue

You need to wait another year unless you are married to a British Citizen ... And are you sure you can apply for a previous period rather than 5 years leading up to the application ?? I would think so since I became a permanent resident automatically after excercising treaty rights for 5 years, and...

Another question regarding EEA(PR) issue

Hello, Could anyone clarify on the issue date of EEA(PR) please... Let's say now I apply for the document certifying permanent residence. My qualifying period is 2005-2010. If the document is issued only in 2015, does that mean that if I decide to apply for British citizenship, I have to wait for on...
