Hi, I applied to Tier 2 General from outside of the UK. They put a vignette in my passport with this info: Date of entry: 01/09/2015 Valid thru: 20/08/2020 So it is almost 5 years. Although I can enter on September 1st I can't travel until September 26th, and this page got me confused: https://www.g...

Re: Restricted COS decisions for July 2015

Just wondering, Does anyone know if it is possible to meet the RLMT requirements without advertising on Jobcentre Plus Universal Jobmatch service? I'm not sure if my work has done it and they refuse to talk to a consultant. So Frustrating It does not have to be on JobCentre , Employers can advertis...

Tier 2 General - Visa issue process

Once the CoS is issued we can apply for a visa.

Can someone clarify how the process works, from what I gathered it is something like this:

1 - Fill up Visa form
2 - Pay the NHS Surcharge
3 - Pay the Visa fee
4 - Visa interview (?)

How long did the process take? What kind of documents were asked?

Re: Restricted COS decisions for July 2015

are you sure about the cut off points ? If it is true, I am going to scream now(I just sit at the 45 points line). Now paranoia is setting in, I have 45 points and I am thinking all the stuff that my employer may have filled incorrectly, If they put the right salary range, if the RLMT was accepted....

Re: Restricted COS decisions for July 2015

Do You think the cap is between 40 and 45? So they are taking this long to inform because they are seeing if they need to allocate 100 more CoS (if that amount is sufficient)?

BTW last month I found out at 2:40pm. So I guess I need to wait another hour, more or less.
