Of course it is "legal" - you are not breaking any law if both countries allow for dual citizenship. Simple. For example if my wife is travelling to Thailand she will use her British passport in the UK and her Thai passport in Thailand. Absolutely no problem at all, given dual nationality...

Bonzoman 500, not sure how long it takes to get the documents back. I do recall last year aplying for my daughter's passport and her supporting documentation arrived back within a day of the passport. Tekaweni had some problems getting his documents back but that was caused by a postal worker. If y...

Bonzoman500. I got an application form a few days before the ceremony and pre-completed it, save for the countersignatory. The countersignatory signed for me after the ceremony, only because that was the only time I would see her this week. I guess you can get someone to pre-sign as countersignator...

I have now crossed the line and became a BC today. I had a private ceremony that lasted about 10 minutes. Formal welcome, read the oath, receive certificate, take photos, play national anthem and that was it! Short and sweet. I also went to the Post Office to apply for my passport today. TEKAWENI: ...

British Passport application countersignatory

Who can countersign a british passport application? A colleague suggested that u can take it to any solicitor or your GP or any of the listed professions on the UKPA wbsite.
Do these people need to know you personally or they just need to verify ur passport photograph??
